Wonderful wonderful wonderful

We stayed in this studio Gite for a week at the beginning of June. The first thing that you notice is the wonderful view from the terrace. Open countryside as far as the eye can see. You have access to the gardens and we even hitched a couple of hammocks to the trees . Inside the gite it has everything you need for a self catered stay. The gite is in immaculate order' with all the furnishings being of a really high standard. Even has a nespresso machine so bring your pods. The gite is more spacious than I expected. The kitchen is very good with washing machine and dishwasher . Plenty of cupboard space and a breakfast bar if the weather is not good enough to eat outside as we did every day. The lounge are is adequate and comfortable. The sleeping area is curtained off from the main room and again is more than adequate with comfortable beds and a large wardrobe. There is also a large bathroom. Dianne the host is very welcoming and friendly. She is quite rightly very proud of her property. She stopped by for a chat most days, even bringing beers and nibbles one day. She was very interesting and gave us some good tips for seeing the area. Jacques her dog is the star of the show, he is friendly and came to see us every day. He does not enter the gite. Even my husband who is not a dog person was won over by him. The gite is well positioned for the area. Only minutes from the centre of Martel which is definately worth spending time in, with plenty of good restaurants . We recommend Halles de savoir. We visited lots of the beautiful villages around including Carrenac Dommes Roccamadour. The caves at Padirac are a must see and for a relaxing day the lac du Causse. All in all. I can not fault this gites or its owner and won't hesitate to recommend it and hopefully one day return.

Feels like home, sweet home

We really enjoyed our stay at Diane's little but fully equipped cottage for the last seven nights. DIane is a great lady and her dog Jack is also very smart and lovely. The place is very clean and comfortable, not to mention the beautiful country view with few acres to walk on. Fantastic place with fantastic host. We highly recommend her place to anyone who comes to Martel, France

The property is beautifully situated at the edge of the village of Martel.

The gite has everything you'll need to enjoy your stay. A car is a necessity as there is no transit in the village, and you will want to tour the nearby villages of Carennac and Rocamadour. Madame Diane is a gracious host.

Libre et très calme avec possibilité de rencontrer du monde

Très bon accueil, recupération des clés directement par l'hôte avec une visite du gite. Échange de bonnes idées pour visiter et profiter pendant les vacances, dès l'arrivée. Hébergement propre et neuf avec une terrasse pour passer de bonnes soirées. Vue sur des champs afin de profiter des étoiles la nuit. Hôte au petit soint, pleine de proposition et de moments agréables. Merci encore pour tous ces bons moments, nous n'avons qu'une hâte : y retourner !!

Voilà plusieurs années que je viens à Martel chez Diane. C'est toujours au top. Au calme, un excellent accueil et plein de petites attentions et conseils qui renforcent cet accueil. C'était la canicule et la clim est bien appréciable. Tous les commerces essentiels à moins de 10mn à pied et tellement de choses à visiter que les 15 jours ne suffisent pas. Séjours chez Diane à la Grangette très agréable , un endroit ou on se comme chez soi, au calme et reposant et rien ne manque tout est mis a votre disposition. le gite de la Grangette est un endroit très bien situé a l'entrée de Martel charmant village , proches de tous commerces ( pas besoin de voitures ) Merci a Diane pour son hospitalité, une personne très sympathique et souriante et de bon conseil pour visiter la région. une très belle rencontre. un grand merci a notre hôte avec qui nous avons passées un bon moment dans le LOT on espère pouvoir revenir à la Grangette pour un nouveau séjour car nous n'avons pas eu le temps de tout visiter et il reste encore tellement de beaux lieux a voir. Un superbe séjour

Mon 3ème séjour chez Diane. Toujours un superbe accueil . La gîte est parfait, super équipé, avec en plus la climatisation, ce qui avec la canicule était plus qu'appréciable. Des conseils gastronomiques, des conseils touristiques, plein de petites attentions et voilà de quoi passer un superbe séjour.

Un petit paradis

Quel bonheur de passer ses vacances chez Diane, à la Grangette. Diane est une hôte extrêmement sympathique et souriante, et avec une joie de vivre qui fait du bien. Au niveau du gîte, rien ne manque, celui-ci est parfaitement conforme à la description, confortableet fonctionnel. Proche de tous commerces, le gîte, bien que situé à l'entrée de la ville, donne l'impression d'être en plein milieu de la campagne, et de plus, au calme. La Grangette est l'endroit idéal pour se reposer. Sa situation géographique permet de visiter la région et ses richesses, sans avoir à parcourir des kilomètres et des kilomètres. De plus, Diane qui connaît très bien Martel et la région est de très bon conseil pour nous guider dans ce qu'il y a à voir dans la région. À la Grangette, tout est fait pour que le séjour se passe bien, avec une discrétion de Diane très appréciable. Merci pour tout, bonne continuation, et j'espère à bientôt pour un nouveau séjour à la Grangette 😉😘

C'était mon 2ème séjour chez Diane et il fut excellent tout comme le fut le 1èr. Tout est très bien, le gîte parfait.
