Family Time

Our stay at Masseria Saracino was excellent. Our family gathered for the most memorable week celebrating family time and birthdays. Tommaso was the most conscientious and responsive host. Our Italian is elementary however, if there was a question of understanding each other, Tommaso’s son was alway available to communicate with us in English. The home was extremely clean, spacious and comfortable. Our weather was beautiful all week so we were able to enjoy the pool, outdoor kitchen and several outdoor living areas. Tommaso helped us secure a pizza chef and another chef for a family cooking class which was enjoyed in the outdoor kitchen. The Masseria is quiet but near to area beach towns and cities that fulfilled our family excursions. The memories and pictures from picking fruit with my grandsons, from the many trees on the property, to playing family Bocce and so much more made our vacation perfect. We will certainly return.

Tommaso! What can I say? If you think hyperbole is bandied about too easily today, I can assure you this is not the case with this review. Absolutely perfect. Hospitable, informative, generous and affable host. If you’re craving authenticity look no further. A rustic setting but with all the amenities you have at home. Location in Martano is perfect if you’re interested in exploring the Salento region of Puglia. From Martano accessing, Santa Maria di Leuca, Otranto and Gallipoli is very convenient. Loved this place unreservedly! Tommaso, spero di ritornare a Settembre! Ciao

Amazing hosts and property!

Rarely does a rental property live up to the listing pictures and information. This property matches and exceeds expectations. Very well maintained and equipped house in a very central location for exploring all of Salerno. We loved this property, cooked dinner here a few times in a very well equipped kitchen, and enjoyed the beautiful outdoor areas. The hosts were so very helpful with planning excursions, restaurant recommendations and even a day yacht tour of Gallipoli. We loved it.

Perfect!

This gorgeous villa was perfect for our group, 2 families with 4 young children between us. The photos really don't do it justice. The pool area is amazing with a huge pool (including an extensive shallower area which is great for children) and lots of places to relax in the sun or shade. The outside kitchen was fantastic and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. We particularly enjoyed how large the property and grounds were and how safe it felt for our children. We could relax in many of the different seating areas whilst the children could explore and play. The icing on the cake were the wonderful owners who looked after us, brought us treats and organised transfers and excursions for us. Thank you Andrea, Tommaso and Lorenzo. We will be back!

Fabulous villa

From the moment we were warmly greeted by our hosts Tommaso and his wife, who showed us around, we fell in love with the villa.The grounds are extensive and very well maintained and the pool is amazing. There were eight of us staying, all with our own space but getting together in the evening in the wonderful al fresco dining area,which opened out onto the gardens but still under cover. It catered for all our needs and I would definitely recommend this property to anyone visting the area.The town we found to be a little too far away to walk too. Tomasso left us some lovely treats and was on hand to give advice and sort any problems.All in all we had a fantastic stay.

Best holiday accommodation ever!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Masseria Saracino. The host family are extremely welcoming and helpful, probably the sweetest people we have ever rented a holiday home from. The house is really well set up for bigger family groups - every bedroom is comfortable, with great beds, and plenty of bathrooms. The setting is idyllic and yes, even better than the photos! Our girls did manage to swim even in late October, and we enjoyed two dinners outside around the pizza oven and BBQ. There was good indoor heating options for the cooler nights too. I would definitely recommend this accommodation and want to say a really big THANK YOU to Tommaso, Maria and Lorenzo for sharing their beautiful house with us.

Absolutely a stunning place - we would go back anytime possible. The property was much bigger than expected and the outdoor kitchen and other ourdoor areas were where we spent all our hours. The pool is amazing and we all (adults and kids alike) loved it.

Nous avons passé un séjour excellent dans cette maison. Nous louons des maisons pour les vacances depuis des années et n’avons jamais une maison à la fois si belle, propre et agréable à vivre. Tommaso et son épouse se sont révélés être des hôtes à la fois très gentils, très disponibles, plein de petites attentions et de petits cadeaux . La situation est parfaite pour rayonner sur toutes les plages du Salento, que ce soit la côte ionienne ou adriatique . Elle de plus située à proximité de Lecce par une route agréable. Nous y reviendrons certainement! We had an excellent stay in this house. We have been renting holiday homes for years and never have a home that is so beautiful, clean and pleasant at the same time. Tommaso and his wife turned out to be very kind, very helpful hosts, full of little touches and small gifts. The situation is perfect to shine on all the beaches of Salento, whether it is the Ionian or Adriatic coast. It is located near Lecce by a nice road. We will definitely come back!

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans ce domaine de rêve. Tout y était : une magnifique villa bien entretenue sur un terrain tout aussi bien aménagé et entretenu. Tout pour les petits et les grands : grande terrasse, bbq, feu ouvert, belle piscine idéale pour les petits enfants et propre, ping-pong, foot, badminton, des épices du jardin (jamais vu de tels romarins), ... Un accueil plus que chaleureux et un service impeccable ! A refaire mais surtout, je le recommande !
