Novotel Suites Marseille Centre Euromed

Good hotel for our purposes. We had a superior suite that offered a balcony and additional facilities. The rooms on both stays were perfect for the purpose if the dining facilities that the hotel provided were a little utilitarian

Nice hotel centrally located to access the old town with plenty of restaurants nearby too. Friendly staff, spacious rooms & good facilities including a handy fridge and microwave. Breakfast is typically continental but there are plenty of other options nearby if you want to try them.

We stayed at Novotel Suites for 5nights. during our August break. We transferred to the main train station and then decided to walk the distance to the hotel. It's not to far at all around 25-30mins with pushchair and luggage in tow, it was easy to find and the route was safe. On arrival the reception staff were very helpful and even allowed us to check in several hours early as our room was ready. They also offered options with baby cots, beds etc. The staff offered us breakfast but at €15 each we decided a local delicatessen/boulanger would do. All the staff even cleaners were very helpful and chatty throughout our stay. Our room was bright and spacious, although no terrace we had a decent enough view. I was very surprised at how clean the room was, absolutely spotless everyday. Our nespresso machine and fridge was re stocked daily too. The shower cubicle was a little different but worked well, although the riser rail was flimsy and the shower head kept dropping down, which was highly annoying. Directly outside the hotel was a tram stop, I would say you could walk to the old port area in about 20mins but the tram was very convenient especially with children and was available until late at night. There is a large modern shopping centre very close by which occupied us for a while. Overall I feel we made a good decision choosing this hotel. It's great location makes getting around very easy. Although there is not a pool or terrace there are plenty of restaurants/bars etc that offer a similar experience. For the price we paid in August I cannot complain.

Stayed here for ~3 nights in August. The rooms are fairly small, if you are used to a US sized room. The breakfast in the morning, while convenient is not what I would call amazing. (They will charge you 15Euro for it.) Its better to walk to a nearby pastisserie or even starbucks. The elevators are fairly small, cramped, and invariably stop at too many floors (either people getting on or off).

We stayed for 3 nights as a family of 2 adults and 2 children (11&7). All of us have said we'd happily return, both to Marseille and to this Hotel. The check-in was one of the friendliest we've ever had, and really helpful. In fact, all the staff were really lovely and made us feel very welcome. The room was a great size for the 4 of us, not a sea view but we weren't visiting to look out of a window so no problem! Coffee machine, kettle, fridge and microwave included. Plus a free safe which so many other hotels feel the need to charge for? In the bathroom there was just a basic shower gel/soap rather than separate shampoo etc but again, fine for us as we had things with us. Breakfast was a good continental choice, lots of cereals, meats, cheese, pastries etc we all left full every morning! Our one main disappointment was that there was no English breakfast tea... Situated about a 15/20 minute walk to the Vieux Port, or a short tram ride from right outside. Good location overall, and we would recommend!

After reading some of the reviews I did not expect the hotel to be as good as it is. Check in was a breeze the staff speak English really well our 12 year old was given a set of earphones and a beach frisbee which was a nice treat for him. We went to our suite and was surprised at how large the room actually was. There was a little welcome tray with tea, nespresso pods hot chocolate milk and biscuits. There are 2 pillows each the bed is really comfy. A separate toilet. It has all necessary toiletries which are refreshed daily the hairdryer is not the best but it does what it needs to and at least I did not have to take one with me. The balcony is a brilliant place to sit and watch the boats come in and leave. Breakfast is as you would expect continental it has eggs and a boiler. Waffles various breads toaster cereals meat cheese yogurts omelette fresh fruit fruit juice teas and coffee croissants muffins and madeleines so plenty to fill up on. There is a microwave in the room and a carrefour near by where you can get some really good microwave meals. The staff were always polite and happy to help. The hotel is in a great central location to all the travel amenities. Plenty of shopping and restaurants close by. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in at the Novotel on route from Barcelona to Nice. The hotel was very basic compared to others I have stayed in around the world. There was a Nespresso machine in the room which was a plus. The location of the hotel is great as there is a tram stop nearby. There isnt much of a view form the rooms we stayed in but rooms are very spacious and clean.

Nice hotel with underground parking nearby. Room was specious and clean. Not a lot of choice for breakfast , and the first morning was mad, the staff were obviously struggling . All in all a good place to stay

Located just opposite one of the tram stops. Hotel rooms are spacious and modern. Staff were very friendly and breakfast was great. The only negative was the what seemed to be dirty breakfast trays. These were stained with what looked like sticky maple syrup.

We stayed here for two nights on our way to Barcelona. This was close to perfection for a base for us. Just outside and across the hotel you can catch the tram connecting to almost every tourist/dining destination in Marseilles. The hotel is clean with good-sized rooms and did I say clean?! This hotel was also two blocks from a big shopping mall Les Terrasses du Port. Some dining options in the mall but the building in between the shopping mall and hotel (Les Docks de la Joliette) has better dining options.
