Booked this hotel for business trip. Stay for one night. People are very friendly. Room is big with separate toilet and bath/shower. Bed is good and the room is quiet. Breakfast is a bit poor. Location is good.
We stayed 4 days. We booked a very big nice suite with a balcony and very nice view for the harbor. The hotel is very modern and in a nice new area. The parking is for a fee. Good transport to the city center.
Stayed here for four nights and found the hotel itself to be okay. My husband was quite disappointed with it, simply from the fact that the reality did not live up to the photographs. The room itself was very large, however, it was the little things that made it average. Paper cups for tea and coffee, plastic cups for water, wooden splints for teaspoons. Any extra coffee pods for the machine are charged at 1 euro each! The room was very clean but the bathroom and toilet was a strange affair, reminded us of a plastic pod with saloon style doors. The balcony was unusable for two people as there is only one seat. The staff were very polite and helpful and the hotel is situated 15 minutes walk from the railway station, 30 minutes walk to the old port, 5 minutes walk to the shopping centre where there is a great boulangerie on the ground floor. Breakfast is charged at 15 euros per person, much cheaper to go to the cafe's or the boulangerie at the shopping centre. This hotel is classed as a four star but it does not compare to a UK four star.
Two adults, 4 year old and one year old. Hotel was perfect for our needs. Good size room with travel cot provided for baby. Check in and out very efficient and staff helpful. Good location with tram stop right outside. Reasonably priced. Would stay again.
Can't believe this is a four star hotel. The premade plastic suites have terrible logistics. Worst thing was when I asked for a bed to be made and I was told to do it myself. Breakfast is served on cardboard plates. Fitness is terrible. It has a sort of supermarket in the hall where you can buy food and heat it up in your room as there is no room service.
We only stayed in this hotel for one night as we were visiting Marseille on a weekend trip. We were able to check in several hours earlier than expected which made our short trip so much more convenient, the staff were all really lovely. The room was very clean and spacious and the bed was super comfortable. It is only a short 20 minute walk to the old port and about 20 minutes walk or less even to the main train station in Marseille. I would definitely stay here again if in Marseille on another occasion.
Good hotel for our purposes. We had a superior suite that offered a balcony and additional facilities. The rooms on both stays were perfect for the purpose if the dining facilities that the hotel provided were a little utilitarian
Nice hotel centrally located to access the old town with plenty of restaurants nearby too. Friendly staff, spacious rooms & good facilities including a handy fridge and microwave. Breakfast is typically continental but there are plenty of other options nearby if you want to try them.
We stayed at Novotel Suites for 5nights. during our August break. We transferred to the main train station and then decided to walk the distance to the hotel. It's not to far at all around 25-30mins with pushchair and luggage in tow, it was easy to find and the route was safe. On arrival the reception staff were very helpful and even allowed us to check in several hours early as our room was ready. They also offered options with baby cots, beds etc. The staff offered us breakfast but at €15 each we decided a local delicatessen/boulanger would do. All the staff even cleaners were very helpful and chatty throughout our stay. Our room was bright and spacious, although no terrace we had a decent enough view. I was very surprised at how clean the room was, absolutely spotless everyday. Our nespresso machine and fridge was re stocked daily too. The shower cubicle was a little different but worked well, although the riser rail was flimsy and the shower head kept dropping down, which was highly annoying. Directly outside the hotel was a tram stop, I would say you could walk to the old port area in about 20mins but the tram was very convenient especially with children and was available until late at night. There is a large modern shopping centre very close by which occupied us for a while. Overall I feel we made a good decision choosing this hotel. It's great location makes getting around very easy. Although there is not a pool or terrace there are plenty of restaurants/bars etc that offer a similar experience. For the price we paid in August I cannot complain.
Stayed here for ~3 nights in August. The rooms are fairly small, if you are used to a US sized room. The breakfast in the morning, while convenient is not what I would call amazing. (They will charge you 15Euro for it.) Its better to walk to a nearby pastisserie or even starbucks. The elevators are fairly small, cramped, and invariably stop at too many floors (either people getting on or off).
