me and my boyfriend stayed in this hotel while i was 8 months pregnant, apparently soccer team that was staying in at the same time was more important than any other guest! we were treated very poorly, and just to get in and out of the hotel was super annoying while “security” was playing an agents FBI! the rooms are just ok, very basic and the breakfast is nothing to die for either over all big disappointment i would not recommend to stay or dine here

We came here on our summer holiday as we were unable to fly this summer and we enjoyed our stay here. We arrived in very windy conditions which made sitting by the pool on the first day very chilly, but that was the only bad day of weather we had. The hotel is clean, the staff are polite and friendly - especially the pool staff, very good service there. One problem I did have was the price of the drinks by the pool - 1 pint of beer is 8€ and one can of coke is 5€! That is extortionate if you ask me!

We booked as part of our honeymoon, and the staff upgraded us which was a nice surprise. Pool and hot tub were great, and the restaurant was one of the best meals we had on our whole trip! Rooms are spacious and comfortable. It is mostly a business hotel so you do feel a little weird in the lobby during the day if you're vacationing, but we didn't really care. It's also not an ideal location, it's a long walk to town and there isn't much nearby - but luckily we like walking and were only there for two days anyway. It's not exactly a destination, but it was a great stopping point on our road trip!

We booked this hotel for 1 week last minute as we had cancelled a previous holiday. The weather looked good and we were taking our dog and this hotel accepts dogs. I phoned prior to booking to be certain it was OK to bring the dog (a Labrador). They said of course! We drove down over 3 days and on arrival asked where the dog is allowed in the hotel. They said everywhere!! But then immediately explained no dogs by the pool, no outside space for the dog, the dog can't go in the restaurant or terrace and can't use any of the nearby parks and beach as dogs are banned! We asked where the dog is allowed and they replied only in the room!! So really not dog friendly at all. We had to run a relay service with each other to and from the pool so one stayed in the room with the dog and we had room service on 2 nights for dinner! The staff did move us to a slightly better room but were fully booked so options were limited. On some other nights, after our complaint, they allowed the dog in the restaurant and we discovered on day 3 that dogs are allowed on the beach in September! The hotel didn't know that. We found the location, although very much a middle class residential area, extremely busy and quite far from other attractions. It is roughly a 30 minute drive from Marseille and the town by the hotel is quite uninteresting. There are dual carriageways, noisy motorbikes, cycle lanes along the pavements on which bikes travel at high speed and a dead rat in the street! Primarily this is a business hotel and hosted several conferences while we were there. It is trying to attract tourists as well but we felt uncomfortable returning from the beach with dog, towels and beach bags, passing through Reception rubbing shoulders with all the suits and stilettos attending conferences. Somehow it just didn't work. I've requested that the hotel removes its tab saying they accept dogs (clearly they don't!) and we did receive a small rebate but we checked out early and returned home. The only positive for this hotel is that the food was excellent and quite reasonably priced.

Stayed several nights at this hotel for a conference. Hotel is old and not well maintained. Location is so so, outside of Marseilles center but in a quiet area near the beach. Hotel service is poor, staff is often quite rude and not willing to help. Certainly not go again.

Nice hotel, lovely and clean. 5 minute walk to beach. Short car journey to Vieux Port. Food was lovely, plenty to eat for breakfast and good variety. Very helpful staff. Only problem was breakfast wasn't delivered to room on time on the morning of our departure, despite paying extra. Overall, though, very pleasant hotel.

We arrived Marseille and we booked the hotel because we thought that was a 4* therefore we were given a room prepared for handicapped people so the shower was open, going toillet after shower would make our feet wet. The sink was so low that was not even nice to brush teeth.

Despite the Hotel being in the busy area of Bonne Veine; however sitting on the dining terrrasse which overlooked the race course and the golf course gave it a certain tranquility that was enjoyable. The service was superb, the staff always ready to serve with a smile- including Jonathan and a female staff whose name escaped me at the reception etc...One in particular stuck in our mind - look for 'Charli' the bar man, he went the extra mile forever willing to serve the customers well- he made our stay especial with his person centred cocktails which he had a way of finding out through his conversations. I gave a letter to hand over to the Hotel manager to the front line staff at the reception to express our gratitude and in making our stay pleasurable. The brunch - buffet style is worth having on a Sunday with varied sea food platter among other items on the 'formule'. The swimming pool is heated, so one can have a swim late in the evening. Overall Very pleased - our room was fairly basic but the bed was comfortable and the housekeepers kept it neat and clean with change of towels. Be aware that the jacuzzi was closed at 5pm one day. The steam room and the sauna made up for it. Near by the town Cassis is a 'must see' with its numerous restaurants, the beach and the marina. Also one should see la route des cretes which is 500m above sea level and the view is simply beautiful on the way to Cassis.

We booked to stay here in July , the hotel made an error with our payment and took 10 times more money than they shoul have and then took the correct amount. Despite numerous phone calls and e mails to them, it has now been 3 weeks and they still have not refunded us in full. The accommodation manager has been trying to help but tbey still owe us a lot of money. We hope that if our trip goes ahead, the service at the hotel is better. I see that the director general of the hotel has responded to most of these reviews, we look forward to ours !

we were meant to arrive at the hotel on a but missed our flight so arrived on the friday, the hotel gave us complimentary breakfast in replacement for the stay. Also being pregnant i had quite a few odd requests which they were happy to help with. Although not in the main city centre i'd pick this location again as it is literally 5 minutes from the beach and if you want you can take a short taxi or bus ride to the port. Only negative is the rooms have no fridge so you either have to go to the bar or get room service, We simply asked for ice in our room for any drinks we had which they happily brought to us whenever we asked. The staff was great and the hotel was lovely.
