Mice in the Kitchen for thanking dinner
The property was beautiful and clean. But on thankgiving day and night we had a few guess MICE.
We took some pics of them.
The worst Thankgiving day and dinner.
We are requesting two days money refund.
Could not leave the property on Thanksgiving day bc we were 6 hours away from home.
The cabin was nice and they provided the basics so you don’t have to buy all the little things like laundry detergent or spices for cooking. The listing said there was a room with two double beds but that was not accurate. Thankfully we had looked through photos and brought an air mattress just in case. The resort is nice but renters aren’t allowed to participate in special activities like bingo. We were allowed to utilize the courts and the swimming pool though which were all really nice. The resort itself is on a mountain and one of our cars had trouble getting up the driveway even while it was normal conditions. They do advise 4x4 so take heed of that because it’s definitely needed. The cabin itself was nice and updated. It didn’t have central heat or air but they do provide wall units and plug in heaters as well as a fireplace which we did not use. Overall we were happy with our stay and would recommend this cabin if you are looking to get away from towns for awhile. Also if you get motion sick easily be aware that the roads are very winding and most of us felt sick at one point or another because we weren’t used to that.
