We chose this property because of the location and because it is pet-friendly. Our dogs LOVED it - plenty of space to run around and explore, and they slept great each night. Lakeside Cabin is a great location for kids or big groups. The sauna, hot tub, pool table, ping pong table, fire pit, and big decks are perfect for gathering. Also, the host was responsive and helpful throughout our stay.

Cool cabin, lots of fun!

We were happy to find a cool, fun place with lots of beds to accommodate everyone in our group. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked and the whole spot was beautiful.

The perfect memory making cabin

I stayed here with 14 of my best friends for my bachelor party. The cabin was perfect for us from the ability to step out the door to fish, enjoy hanging out on the top porch overlooking the pond, sitting in the hot tub, having intense ping pong matches in the garage, and having a great time sitting around the fire at night. All of us were comfortable and woke up feeling rested and ready to go the next day.

The property was very clean, spacious and had all the necessities needed. The owners were very communicative and available for any needs. Our only regret is that we did not stay long enough to enjoy all the cabin had to offer!

Beautiful Mountain Oasis

We had a great time staying at this Mars Hill cabin. The scenery is breathtaking on the drive in as well as at the cabin. The hosts were super accommodating and quick to respond. We loved the authentic feel of the cabin and the amenities on site. Thank you for a wonderful time to celebrate my Bachlorette party. We look to come back in the future.

Beautiful Scenery and spacious cabin

We had a great time celebrating 2 birthdays staying in this cabin. There was plenty of sleeping space as well as great views. We were able to easily drive to go snow tubing and to Asheville for sight seeing. The property manager was easily reached and helpful

A White Christmas!!

A Wonderful home with beautiful views. This home did not disappoint anybody in our group. The fresh snowfall and the frozen lake made for a perfect Christmas vacation with our family. Close to Asheville and the Biltmore House; Hendersonville and Waynesville were short excursions and very enjoyable. The house was great. It had plenty of room for everyone with room to spare. We loved the fireplace and privacy the home offered. We would defiantly come back again.

Sweet Sixteen Mountain Weekend

This cabin was an amazing place to spend the weekend with our twin daughters and 5 of their friends to celebrate their 16th birthday. We took our other daughter and her friend, too. There was plenty of room! The bunk room with the attached game room and porch with a hot tub was perfect! We fished, hiked, and cooked s’mores around the fire pit. The cabin is beautiful and so is the property. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The great room furniture and all the beds were incredibly comfortable. The communication with hosts was excellent. The 20 minute drive to downtown Mars Hill was easy and there were great restaurants. We would definitely book this cabin again any time of year!! We didn’t want to leave!

Great view

This cabin has a great view. The owners are very responsive and answer any questions you have. We would suggest 4-wheel drive if you are parking in one of the two bottom spaces. The cabin could use a little updating but other than that you won’t be disappointed. Would stay again!!!

Mostly very nice

Beautiful cabin with great last minute availability which we were very grateful for! Nice views, very serene. The owner was very communicative and accommodating. Our only real disappointment was that the hot tub never heated properly, so we weren't able to use it. Large groups should also be aware that, aside from a half bath down in the basement/garage, you have to walk through bedrooms to access the toilets on the main floors.

The Refuge Worship Team Retreat

The location was great! There were plenty of beds. It wasn’t really a challenge, but only two showers could be challenging with a larger group (we had 8). The house was perfectly set up for us to do some songwriting and rehearse new music. We brought a keyboard, electric drum set, flute, and bass. Highly recommend this home!

Great mountain get away!

Super cute, clean, and well organized with tons of space for folks to sleep. For me the best part was the huge porch overlooking the pond with the little waterfall at the end. Easy access to Mars Hill and not bad even to Ashville for a quick trip.

Wonderful mini vacation

We decided on a last minute vacation and this cabin was perfect. All my son wanted to do was fish and that was all we did. It was the first time my daughter and I caught a fish! The ponds are fully stocked and we lost count how many we caught. We didn’t really have time to enjoy the hiking trails as it rained most days. Nor did we use the hot tub as it was just too hot outside but it looked clean and inviting! The cabin itself was beautiful and clean. It could use a few upgrades but otherwise it was a nice place to stay. It had everything we needed to prepare our meals. Just bring your groceries. The location is perfect- don’t follow GPS or you’ll pass the cabin. The owners were very helpful and quick to respond. We even received local information prior to our stay. Thank you Rachel and Sam!

The house is nice, there were a few repairs that would have made this stay awesome. Lose tile, tripping hazard at the top of the stairs and cleaned furniture. The customer service made up for the house.I would stay here again just on the customer service alone.
