Riad Moucharabia was an oasis of calm in the middle of a bustling place. Our room was beautifully furnished and overlooking the swimming pool - this was a wonderful place to cool off after a hot days sightseeing! Fabulous! The lady owner and staff made us feel most welcome - the service was excellent and breakfast good.

Nice, peaceful place at the edge of the Medina

Spent 2 nights here at the end of our trip to Morocco. This riad is situated in a fairly convenient spot when it comes to navigating the medina, as it's very close to the western edge. You just have to go down one main street just a bit, then make a right and go straight till you hit it. It's very quiet here, but we were there in late October which is not high season. They were always very eager to serve breakfast! This riad has a much different style than other more traditionally-Moroccan ones we stayed at, which was a nice change of pace to have at the end of our trip. We liked how there was a lot of shelf space in the room to store and charge devices and what not we had with us.

La zona donde se encuentra localizado dentro de la MĂ©dina es una zona muy sucia y muy pobre, se accede por una calle “peatonal” que a la vez un mercado, sin embargo todo el tiempo pasan motos y bicis a toda velocidad, El Riad es un concepto de bes and breakfst el cual funciona cuando uno puede ceder a restaurantes cercanos o por lo menos a tiendas que vendan comida cercanas, aquĂ­ no es el caso. El Riad estĂĄ decorado muy lindo sin embargo al parecer es un hotel ya con algunos años y no con mucho mantenimiento, el personal del hotel fueron muy amables

Charmant Ă©tablissement. Le dĂ©cor est rempli d’artĂ©facts uniques et le personnel est trĂšs attentionnĂ©. Un merci spĂ©cial Ă  Majid d’ailleurs pour son hospitalitĂ©! Le Riad est bien situĂ© pour se dĂ©placer Ă  pied tant dans la vieille que la nouvelle ville. Par contre, il faut ĂȘtre prĂȘt Ă  traverser la rue Fatima Zahra, qui est rebutante... cƓurs sensibles s’abstenir.

Das Riad Moucharabieh ist ein in die Jahre gekommenes Riad, das seine besten Tage bereits hinter sich hat. FĂŒr Kurzzeit-Reisende (ein bis drei Tage), die keine besonderen Anforderungen an das Riad stellen ist es wegen seiner optimalen Lage am Bab Doukalla, sehr empfehlenswert. Wer allerdings lĂ€nger dort zu ĂŒbernachten beabsichtigt, wird den KĂŒhlschrank, die Safetybox, den Fernsehapparat, ein bequemes Sitzmöbel und das Boxspringbett mit leichter BettwĂ€sche vermissen. Der Whirlpool auf der Dachterrassen exisitert nicht mehr, Sonnenliegen auf derselben gab es keine. Das Personal war jedoch bemĂŒht, die MĂ€ngel durch Freundlichkeit wettzumachen. Fazit: ich habe ein Riad gewollt und ein Riad bekommen. FĂŒr einen weiteren Besuch wĂŒrde ich es dennoch erneut buchen, weil ich inzwischen weiß, daß ich meine Erwartungen an ein Mittelklasse-Riad nicht allzu hoch schrauben darf.
