Excellent and such nice personel. Cleaning good. Food evenings bettet Tham most restaurants out. I would not say that one could call it a pool. More like small tub. We are very satiesfied with our stay!!!
The riad is very well located! It is really quiet and central! very secure to walk back during the night and service is great. Superb breakfast condition and plenty information about the city. Be aware at the time you arrive because the taxi drives do not go to the hotel. Negotiate the price with the people will help you with the luggage trough the little streets. Google maps works perfectly and helps a lot once around the souks.
We stayed in a family suite in August 2017. It was beautiful and clean. The children enjoyed the pool, which was just outside our room. The riad is beautiful and has a lovely terrace. Breakfast was good. The staff (especially Moncef) were really nice - they allowed us to treat the riad like our own home. The location was really good too - felt very safe, even late at night. Hanan was a lovely, friendly cleaner and Yasin (the night manager) also looked after our needs well.
So happy I booked this special place!! The people, the service, the rooms, location, EVERYTHING was PERFECT and beautiful. Best possible location. Delicious breakfasts, the staff helped book excursions, guides, airport transfers. A true oasis.
What a lovely place, perfect location, clean big rooms, great breakfast, and the staff so so nice. This place is right in the center of the old town, so if you are looking for real Marrakesh, then this is it. Highly recommend.
We were here for a whole week and had a wonderfull time at this Riyad. Very kind personel - Wonderfull welcome by Moncef - who helped us with all we needed during our stay. Moncef is exstreemly helpfull and polite. Saida - was our "food mom" - exstreemly polite - serviceminded and always smiling. She made us some good meals - and always with a smile. We had some good talks - despite she spoke french and we spoke english :) Khadija - kept our rooms clean and even took care of all our mess. Yassen - took care of all the things at night and we felt carm and secure. Thanks for a perfect stay at you riayd! Super rooftop terrace.
Hotel location is good, just a couple of mins away from Jemaa El Fnaa, walkable street so you have to carry your luggage, be sure to advice the hotel the time of your arrival so they can send you a cart. Rooms are ok, well decorated spacious and clean (though we got some bugs on the room last day). Staff is friendly but there's no one at the front desk, at times only the cook is at the hotel and she only speaks french, that's not good in case you need anything. It's supposed to be a 4 star but that's not 4 star service. No amenities in room. Breakfast is ok, wifi not fast enough, no TV, no coffee maker, no phone, no bath amenities, I didn't even get towels, I had to ask for them. No elevator, and we got no help from staff so we had to carry our luggage upstairs. Pool is not inviting at all, it is clean but is not that great. Overall good comfortable stay but would not recommend it.
Daughter and Father trip for 4 nights. We have done a large portion of other continents but this was our first taste of Africa. Phillipé and staff were wonderful. Always around to help but not in the way. If you can imagine yourself in a maze this is the finish line. The prize. So quiet and peaceful while outside and meters away is the hustle and bustle of everyday street sellers. Goods to be had.....Leather, oils, soaps, clay pots, nuts and metals fashioned into all types of product. This trip was just a taste but I'm willing to go back for a bigger bite !!!
Arriving at Marrakech Menara Airport was an experience in itself. The beauty of the airport was astonishing with its hexagonal patterns. Anyway, the airport transfer was quick and easy and we were quickly on the road. As we got nearer the Jemaa el Fnaa square, the buildings became more and more traditional. The Riad is based in a very peaceful haven despite the noise outside and is a wonderful relief when you get back from the pounding heat of Marrakech. The rooms are spacious and have great air conditioning to cool yourself down. Breakfast in the morning is the full Moroccan deal with freshly baked bread, an assortment of preserves, cake, tea and coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice. It was brilliant not just because of the taste but it powered us on throughout the day. Amongst everything else, the staff couldn't be more helpful. If we ever needed anything, we could rely on them to bring it to us instantly. Their knowledge of the area was excellent and their advice got us to some very enjoyable cafes. With only a 5-10min walk to the main square, it is in a perfect location for everything. As soon as you enter the square, dozens of orange juice stands will await you. The drinks are cheap too! Snake charmers, monkeys, horse and carts: you need to try everything otherwise you won't have the proper experience. The only downside to the hotel was that they didn't tell when they had freshly chlorinated the swimming pool so we had to suffer some displeasure when we got in for a dip but there was nothing else bad so it is still 5 stars for me!
Well, what can I tell u... my first day on Marrakesh was not a good experience, we stayed in the old area near to the medina, awful choice but as we didn't know much about the place we couldn't do much, everyone wants to rip you off (charge you more for everything) when you want to buy something it is horrible to even look at something that you like on the souks (markets) . The hotel was really clean, good staff however almost no one in Marrakesh speaks English, has no Tv, the chemicals of the pool were so strong my eyes got irritated just to be there for 5 min to do a picture, the Riad is really dark witch is good for the heat but is not good if you like light also it was so strange because we bearly saw people around, the bed was comfortable, however if you enjoy details you won't find it here, no one offers you tea when you arrive or something extra you could expect, about Marrakesh I will recommend you look on trip advisor before you book a tour , Almost NO One accepts American Express so be prepare, visa and martercard or cash it's ok, I wouldn't stay more than 3 days in the city.
