We stayed for a week in riad Ariha. It is a delightful place to relax in amidst the hustle and bustle of the Medina. The staff were wonderful and went out their way to help . Khalid even walked us to a nearby restaurant one evening and collected us afterwards, because it was hidden away and difficult to find - we would certainly have lost our way without him! We had two delicious evening meals at the riad- I can honestly say the lamb and prune tagine was the best I have ever eaten!and the vegetable tagine sublime. We were extremely happy with our choice of riad. Very close to everything.-although it doesn't feel like it at first because of being in the old part of the city with its complex passages- you soon get usedto it! The room was beautiful, elegant. It was everything we had hoped it would be . Marrakech is an incredible place to visit and the staff and environment at riad Ariha made it extra special.

Riad Ariha provides very comfortable, clean rooms, relaxing common spaces and wonderful meals. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Management provides assistance with getting around the city and the countryside, as well as booking transportation to and accommodations in other cities. One has the feeling of home away from home. Riad Ariha is a must-stay within the Medina (old town), in order to truly experience the people and neighborhoods of Marrakech.

Originally booked the Riad Chi Chi but I was offered this as an alternative to it. I spoke by email to Fatima who was so responsive to my enquiries. The Riad itself is in a quiet residential area Take a while to locate , but hey that's Marakech For you. Once inside the contemporary decor rally make this place perfect for honeymoon and for intimate couples. I would of say this was the best Riad I have stayed in around Marrakech And most of all the staff are all helpful and friendly.

Nice small riad in the medina. Accommodation somewhat basic but clean and in the middle of everything. Breakfast ok, but could be improved. No fruit available etc. Make sure to ask for dinner (which was beautiful and delicious!)to be cooked for you at the riad. Riad has also a nice rooftop area. Abdul and the other guy are very nice and helpful. You also get a phone in case you are lost, and believe me you will get lost!! Please note, there is no option for the taxi to drop you off at the hotel because of narrow streets and you will have to walk to the hotel.

beautiful riad in a calm part of the medina. very friendly and helpful staff taking care of their guests 24/7. we had booked two of the bigger rooms, which is absolutely worth it. breakfast was nice, and the roof top terrace is amazing. the area around the riad is a residential neighborhood, safe and friendly, with a couple of shops nearby.

I cannot say enough good stuff about this place. As early as 1 hour after i made the booking the hotel contacted me, thanking me for my booking, offered to arrange the transfers, tours, treatments, Fatima was so helpful i wondered what i did to deserve such wonderful treatment! Everything organised, our driver waited for us, even when we got out of the airport about an hour later due to the slow customs process etc. Our guide from the hotel was waiting for us at the drop off point, so no danger of getting lost, and a very short less than 5mins walk to the Riad, all the while our guide telling us about the place, do's and don't, he was marvellous!! As for the Riad, such a beautiful place, beautiful elegant white interior, not very tradition with the rugs and mosaic like at some other the other Riads, very simple and to the point! We arrived early as a lot of the Stanstead flights do, and our room was being cleaned, but they let us leave our bags in the room and change into the right attire for exploring. We were given a phone with pre-programmed numbers should we get lost, or need assistance, the manager even was kind enough to offer us some money as we did not get any at the airport, wow, amazing!! Where else would be so gracious and courteous! On our arrival back, the room was amazing, clean, spacious (the jacaranda room) which i believe is the second biggest room! Everyday cleaned amazingly well, the bathroom is a piece of art on its own, i would of preferred a more powerful shower, but nothing wrong with it at all, it worked well and temperature good, if you wanted it hot or cold. Breakfast everyday was unique and prepared differently, not overly impressive, but starts the day off right with lots of bits and paces, and like i said ever day is different, i would have liked more fruit and the likes, as Marrakesh is renowned for its fruit but none was added to the breakfasts while we were there. Such a minor thing i would not hold it against them, as for the one evening meal we had there, the cook was amazing, we asked to stay in for dinner our first night, and she made us the BEST chicken tagine EVER! By far the best we had during our whole stay, if you do anything have at least one meal at the Riad, the cook is amazing! She was so accommodating, we asked to eat in at 5pm and it was freshly made, and by 8pm we were enjoying our dinner with a salad start and dessert!! WOW Wifi was great, dropped off once or twice, but a few minutes later was back on track! The roof was good, nice place to sit and enjoy the sunshine, fresh towels were brought up every day if you wanted to sunbath. As you know Morroco is generally no drinking, but they are again very accommodating, and if we ask for bottle of wine or beers they will provide these, either in your room, the terrace or the roof unopened of course and you can do the honours, they were very honest that it being a hotel, charge more then in the supermarket, which we were welcomed to do, but we spent our money there, as 18 euro for a bottle of rose will hardly break the bank. Our visit was amazing and the Riad Ariha is my recommend hotel to everyone who asks for a recommendation, definitely pay a little more and go for the bigger rooms, but it is quiet and peaceful, the staff are so helpful, one day our air con died on us, it would not turn off as we were leaving, we reported it and it was fixed by the evening with so many apologies, so efficient, so good and so accommodating. There was also a very very VERY minor issue on our departure, the hotel manager was not informed by their head office we paid in advance, but once we forwarded the booking form, we were not questioned at all, and he removed the accommodation charge fro our final bill. A lot of Riads do not have lockable rooms, they do here, a simple padlock and key, but you can rest easy your stuff is safe when you leave. So my verdict!! Stay here! Its amazing, if anything is not to your satisfaction they will fix it to ensure you ahve a wonderful stay!!!! Thank you Ariha for a wonderful experience!

What a lovely place: this small riad has 5 rooms, 2 on the ground floor and 3 on the 1st floor. The room we stayed in was spotless and stylishly decorated. There are little places to relax all throughout the riad if you want to read a book or mingle with other guests, as well as a rooftop terrace. Breakfast is served on the patio and is very filling. Staff were always very friendly, helping us to find our way to the main part of the medina on our first day, as the riad is tucked away in a little alley and taxis can't come there (you can walk from the city centre, it doesn't take long, once you know the way :-) ). The rooms are very reasonably priced for the quality you get. Highly recommended!

Riad Ariha is located in the northern part of the medina near Ben Slimane, about a 7 minute walk through the alleys from a taxi station. From the riad it is only a 10 minute walk into the souks and 25 minutes from Jemma El Fna. The riad is small with only 5 rooms. We stayed in the Jasmine suite which was extremely comfortable, with plenty of space, a good sized double bed and a big sofa, all overlooking the inner courtyard. The shower room was also large with marble fittings, well equipped albeit slightly faded. From the roof terrace there were views to the snows of the high Atlas. The riad has a plunge pool – which we did not use, being only March – and a hammam where we has a superb hot wash and a scrub down from the woman in charge – very invigorating. Service: This was outstanding and a huge plus when staying in a rather confusing city. Immediately after booking we received a comprehensive email giving not only details of the food and hammam services in the riad but also a guide to the main sights in the town and details of possible excursions outside. The riad organised a car to meet us at and return us to the airport and a guide to take us from the car to the riad. We had ordered supper which was waiting for us on arrival. The riad lent us a local mobile phone for the first couple of days so that we could phone for help if we got lost. Amazingly we didn’t! Additionally they not only booked a restaurant we had chosen but offered to take us there. Food: No restaurant but one could order a meal in advance. The tajines which we had on arrival were well spiced and equal to the best we ate anywhere in the city. Breakfast was orange juice, good coffee and a varying assortment of breads, pastries, omelette etc. Cost: For 4 nights stay in the Jasmine suite including taxi transfers from and to the airport, dinner on arrival, hammam and scrub for two the cost was €565. There are cheaper places to stay but we felt we had value for money. Overall: 5 stars – interesting location, excellent service and comfortable riad.

We stay at riad in beginning of January! It was our first time in Marrakech! And we love it! Riad looks magical! our room with fireplace and amazing decorations we feel like in Disney movie! And it wasn't only the room. The roof terrace make ur imagination get crazy and we feel like in "Alladin" movie! Stuff! It was more like friends/family! All of them: guys from reception, cleaning lady and the lady from the kitchen always lovely and making us feel soo welcome (even when we meet them by accident in town they ask if we okey)! Khaled make our stay perfect he make our fireplace every night no matter what time we comeback! He also help us with all the bookings and planing our trips and surprise party for my boyfriend bday! We had fabulous time! Highly recommend for everyone especially for first timers in Marrakech! WE LOVE IT!😍

A beatiful riad and very friendly people, a very nice and quiet place after spending a day in the more busy parts of the city. We stayed here for five days. This riad is in the old medina, but in the north part of it, which is a bit more relaxed. A perfect spot it you dont want to be in the middle of the very touristy part of the medina. It is amazing how all the noise seems to drop when you enter the riad and sit in the courtyard. Our room was nice, the bed was good, the shower warm, and everything was clean. They serve a nice breakfast, which changes slightly from day to day, with msemen, harcha, pancakes, different kinds of bread, yoghurt, coffee and orange juice. On our first night, we were suggested a restaurant nearby, which looked very nice, but that struck us as a bit expensive and it was packed with other tourists. Instead of this, I would recommend eating dinner at the riad itseld! Good food for a reasonable price. Or at the pizzeria spot in the neigbourhood (10dhr!).
