I have been 2 weeks ago at Iberostar Marrakech and just have to say amazing things. The hotel is stunning, good facilities, a good variety of food, the staff just amazing. Really recommend this hotel to everyone. It is not in the city centre but has a free shuttle service. Very good for couples, families, or even single travellers. have to give a big thanks to the animation team, reception and bar team. You guys rock, keep going on the good job.
We decided to book our stay in Marrakech at the Iberostar because of the glowing reviews the hotel has received and it lived up to our expectations, AND MORE!!! We have loved everything about our stay and it is definitely the perfect hotel for couples and families alike! The staff cannot do more for you! They care so much about their jobs and custom more than any other hotel establishment we have ever visited. Big GIANT thank you to all the staff but especially to Imad for checking up on us daily and asking if there is anything else they could do for us. The animation team are fab, Momo, Walid and Amine we’re so welcoming and even changed the show of the evening and put kareoke on again for me to have another sing on our last night! Just lovely. Rooms are cleaned daily to exceptionally high standards and are also very spacious. Food is varied, fresh and tasty - There is always something for everyone. (The ice cream is fabulous!) Alcoholic and Non Alcoholic drinks are great and the fresh coffee in the main bar is the best! Overall, we 100% loved our stay and felt so safe and relaxed in the hotel. Pool Zen is a great place to unwind and the Main Pool is great for a more lively day! We’ll be back, see you October 2018! Jess & Cal x
I returned yesterday from a fantastic 5 day holiday with dear friends. The hotel was so well kept and beautifully lit up in the evening with terracotta lamps dotted everywhere. The food was amazing and freshly cooked with a brilliant selection for all tastes. The cocktails were yummy especially the Pinacoladas . The staff are very friendly and the rooms are cleaned beautifully every day. We are hoping to return again next year if possible as such a wonderful place to stay for all ages.
Just back home after a 5 night stay at the Iberostar (family of three). Like the majority of the reviews on this site, we had the most wonderful stay. The hotel grounds and facilities are super, with various activities to keep you entertained throughout your stay (tennis courts, ping-pong tables, a football pitch etc). There are three swimming pools, which include a slightly more quiet one for those wanting to stay away from music and one for the young kinds. In regards to the food, there was ample choice with a slight variety each night - they tried to mix it up some nights with an outside barbecue, while there is also another Moroccan restaurant in the hotel which you can use once during your stay. Mainly though, the reason the hotel is so great and many return is due to the staff and entertainment team - they really do make every effort to make your stay as special as can be. Whether it be to get you involved in one of the many daytime games or dancing in the evening at one of the shows, they take exceptional care of every guest. We would personally like to say a special thank you to Sali, Sara, the two Mohammed's, Amine, Walid and the two manager's for making our stay at the Iberostar a wonderful family holiday! We hope to return soon!
Have just had a 5 day break at this hotel. Absolutely loved it. The grounds are beautiful and so well kept. The staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble. The entertainment team work really hard but they aren't pushy if you don't want to join in. The food is fantastic with regular BBQ's. The welcome party with champagne and canapés was a lovely surprise. Rooms are bright, spacious and clean. Highly recommended.
Just back from short break at this hotel . Echo what most people say about the hotel. The hotel and grounds are spotless . The food in the buffet area is of a good standard but does become quite repetitive when eating afternoon and evening. They do their best to vary it with BBQs etc. We were disappointed with the a la carte restaurant. No menu and no choice of starters only 2 choices for main. We weren’t aware what we were eating and felt the whole experience was rushed. Spent less time in that restaurant than in Buffet one. The hotel is in the middle of no where but okay for a few days break. There is plenty of activities at the hotel for all ages eg archery , trapeze, tennis, the usual volleyball and football. The nighttime entertainment was mixed however when there was a show it was of a good standard. Staff were excellent at the hotel in all areas. We used the shuttle bus into the centre. Similarly to other reviews you are “ left quite a distance” from the main square with little guidance. My advice would be to get a map from the hotel and know where you are going first . We were lucky that people on the bus directed us otherwise you may find yourself forced to go with one of the taxi drivers. Shuttle service was free and well worth a visit. Overall a great few days in a lovely location ideal if you just want to relax in the resort.
5 nights in this perfect hotel was amazing. We arrived at 1am after a long day travelling the restaurant was opened for us to get some cold buffet (all inclusive ) which was great. In our room was a lovely selection of fruit and champagne, half way through the holiday we returned to another bottle of champagne and a cake. They truly tried to make it a memorable and special holiday and succeeded. Every staff member we came across were welcoming, attentive and could not do enough. The hotel is immaculately clean the staff work round the clock and are impeccably dressed. The hotel is stunning with 2 lovely pools. Our room was near to the main reception but we found it to be quiet and we slept very well. We had a lovely little balcony as all rooms appear to. The all inclusive was great and ran until 1am most days in their on site club. We used the spa which was downstairs and was stunning with a hive of excellent staff. The prices were extremely reasonable at about 25 pounds for a back massage. The evening entertainment was varied and the dancers very talented. We would have prefered table seating rather than rows to enable us to sit and watch but that is just my preference. The food was plentiful with something for everyone, the meal truck offered burgers, sandwiches waffles and crepes so you wouldn't be hungry. No hotel can ever please everyone but I would say this one is as near to perfect as you can get. Thanks everyone xxxx
What can I say that hasn't already been said? This hotel is absolutely wonderful. I went for a week with mu husband and it just wasn't long enough. We sometimes struggle with the food as we are vegetarians, but not here. There was loads of choice. The cocktails and drinks were fab, the bar staff were wonderful, and the animation team were just fantastic. They were so funny and engaging, they made the hotel. All the staff, the domestics, the waiters, the reception staff. Everyone at this hotel is happy, helpful and polite. We loved it so much we have booked to go back in January 2018! This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in, anywhere in the world. One thing- the food can sometimes be a little cold, there is a microwave but its not by a plug, maybe just plug that in. I need an e mail address for this hotel but cant find it, please can someone leave the e mail address for me on the comments, I just need to ask a few questions regarding our stay in January.
We are a family of 4 (including 2 teenagers). Only had 7 days for this holiday and we chose Iberostar Club after reading wonderful reviews on Tripadvisor especially after the complete renovations of this hotel in March. We were not disappointed at all. We arrived mid afternoon to be greeted by the GR manager very friendly reception staff who took all our details offered us some fresh orange juice and told us all about the hotel, although we were early before their check in time, we had our room ready. The rooms were both very clean, spacious with a big bathroom and sofa to relax on as well as plenty of towels and extra pillows and covers. In all honesty the hotel is a standard 4 star all inclusive with ample activities to keep all ages occupied. The best things about this hotel is the service you receive from the staff. The animation team invited everyone to attend but were not overly forceful and their performances during the day and night were excellent. The bar tenders (special mention to Faizal and Zyad) would always remember your drinks and replenish when needed without us even having to get up. Saleh in the snack bus always kept us fed, bringing food without being asked around the time he know we'd eat or would bring to our rooms if needed. These are just to name a few but at no point did we meet any member of the staff team that wasn't friendly and helpful. I might also add, though we did tip a few at the end of our holiday, its not something they expect or hang around for after they have served you which actually made us want to give them a bit more. There are only a few points for us that that needed to be addressed: 1. The food though of very good quality, become quite repetitive afternoon and evening and we were only there for a week. As the hotel is quite isolated and there is no where else to go, a few more themed restaurants would be appreciated. 2. The bus service into Marrakech was excellent however it drops you too far from the square so that you are subject to an onslaught of touts trying to offer their services. I think if it could be closer, it would make it easier for first time guests to decide if they wanted a tour guide. 3. I don't think there is much the hotel can do about this but the number of wasps at some points were unbearable. We didn't get stung but it spoils the image of the hotel especially as it is so clean. All in all we had an excellent relaxing holiday so thank you to everyone at the Iberostar for making that possible.
Just spent a week at the hotel staff couldn't do enough for you everything was well looked after and spotlessly clean. The food was great with lots of choice. Will definitely go back again. If you want an activity holiday this is the place as there is always something going on and the sports facilities are really good.
