My partner and I stayed at this hotel 10th June - 17th June, we booked the hotel mainly for the water park as we are big kids and we wasn’t disappointed. The water slides are such fun, we never queued for any of these, lots of life guards around and yes a few were closed but the main ones were always open. We also wanted a chilled out relaxing holiday and that’s what we got, so many different pools to choose from and always lots of sun loungers free no matter what time of the day we liked the quiet pool the best! The all inclusive drinks were quite decent our favourite was the pina coladas! Food was surprisingly very good, breakfast had a wide variety of choices like pastries, pancake & omelette station! I would recommend waiting for omelettes as they are delicious!! Lunch and dinner are pretty similar but always something to eat and on Saturday evening they had lots of different food outside including making fresh chicken kebabs. There is a global restaurant and then a Tagine restaurant, the Italian one was closed and being refurbished. The animation team were great and really good for the kids not so much for adult, from about 930 pm for a hour or so they put on a show or games/bingo/karaoke. Our hotel room was opposite the outside entertainment but this didn’t bother us as the latest they ended the entertainment was about 11pm. One thing that we did complain about was there is only one bar open in the evening and this is the rooftop bar so if you’re watching the entertainment you have to go all that way to get drinks. We left the resort to use the free shuttle bus service to go to the markets, we got the 10 am bus and it picks you up again at 2:30 pm, you have to put your name down for the bus which you can do at the reception desk. We personally didn’t like the experience, we got lost several times as we didn’t have a tour guide, please be aware that when anyone tries to help you get out from being lost they will demand money from you which they did with us and won’t let you leave until they get what they want. The shuttle bus was very good though and on time but don’t be late as it doesn’t wait very long! I have read a lot of complaints about construction work, there was some being done nearer towards the restaurants however this didn’t effect us and to be honest you could hardly hear it. Overall we had a lovely holiday at this hotel, staff are super friendly and it was exactly the sort of holiday we both wanted. We would recommend if you’re after a relaxing holiday sunbathing and in the pools but if you are after exploring and leaving the resort and are not keen on being hassled then this isn’t for you!
I recently went here with my partner and our two boys. We paid over £2k to have a 5 star (as advertised) all inclusive break. However this is not what we experienced. Arrived to find the garden view room we'd specifically booked was not available as they had 'run our of those rooms' so we were 'upgraded' to a pool view room. No option given to change this. We then also found the room which should have had two single beds for the boys only had 1 double instead. We requested this be changed to two singles, only to receive an extra travel bed which added with the double then took up all of our space in the additional eating area, leaving up clambering over beds to get to the balcony. The hotel was advertised as as having; 41 water slides, though around a 3rd were closed. A gym, which had a broken treadmill and 4 dumbbells. Nothing else. A wave pool which did not exist. A sauna which did not exist. 4 restaurants, there were only 3 buildings and 1 was closed so this left 2. 4 bars, 1 was permanently closed. The other 3 were only open 1 at a time, leaving huge queues for drinks. Snack bar for kids open 12pm to 5pm - this was open 3pm to 5pm and was simply left over, stale food from the earlier dinner menu. Other issues included drinks regularly running out, including beer and soft drinks. Hotel staff putting our names on a list to visit the markets on the wrong day, leaving us unable to go. When I complained and asked for a taxi instead they refused, then denied me ever asking to be placed on a list, so called me (and 15 others in the same position) a liar, then told me to just go later in the day at 2pm. When I said it would be too hot they told me it wasn't and they lived there so knew that better than me....even though I'd been there a week and knew it was hotter at 2pm than 10am as that's just logic! The new 'upgrade' room was also about 100 feet away from the evening entertainment area, which consisted of them playing the same 5 songs on repeat from 9pm until midnight. Utter torture. Final nail in the coffin was the building work we were not told about. This started at 7am and continued though to 6pm. Bricks and tile debris all over the place left you walking round like a lunatic trying to avoid stepping on them. No signs telling kids not to walk under the building which had debris flying off it. Booked this through Love Holidays so complained to them and offer of compensation was measly so requested more. They refused. No apology for them selling me a holiday which was FAR from 'as advertised'. All I got was some waffle about 'off peak season' which explained certain things being shut....even though we went in the May half term and still paid in excess of £2k for the trip? All other people we met who booked via Thomas Cook all got an adequate amount of money back after all the complaints. I will never booked with Love Holidays again. Terrible travel company and terrible hotel.
We have been here for 5 days, staff and guest relations Zinab also house keeping very good and clean towels daily, staff are so friendly and polite. Aqua fun in a beautiful place to stay. I would recommend for families, singles and couples.
Hotel and staff were brilliant, couldn't do enough for you. We will be returning soon, plenty of activities for children and adults. Brilliant holiday all round. I did read some reviews before i went but i suppose it is each to their own really, the spa is also really good. Good choice of food it is catered for everyone and if something isn't there then just ask. Plenty of sunloungers and parasols. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Travelled 5th to 15th June. The Take a Pen, on landing you all have to fill out little forms and there are no pens. transfer was short and check in quick but they insisted I pay the tourist tax (£2 per adult per night) for my 9yr old child because the booking was for 2 adults. It wasn't but the £20 wasnt worth arguing about. My room was block A and it was nice but above restaurant. When I saw friends room in block D around the quiet pool I went and requested a move. The hotel staff moved us the next morn and the upgrade only cost £150 going from a 1 bed to much bigger 2 bed ground floor room which opened onto kids park and pool. The kids could then go in and out as they pleased and cool off. Beds were super comfy and rooms cleaned each day. The food was amazing and I couldn't have asked for better. It is properly prepared with care and lots of choices even for me as a veggie. The kids were happy as there was always chips and pizza. The alcohol was drinkable and really nice for all inclusive and tipping certainly helps with service. Reception will change notes down into 20's (approx £1.70) for this. Excursions: we took the free bus to Marakesh and met a guide at the drop off point he took us to the shops he got commission from and they were expensive but he helped us see a lot and too us back to collection point. The trip to the waterfall is amazing but it is 4 hours each way. Be prepared to be hassled by the men with nuts for the monkeys and take money for the boats. The hot air baloon ride was amazing and the hotel booked us with Adventure Balloon and they were professional and experienced. Water park: very good loads of life guards. At 3pm each day they turned on Rapids in lazy river and took all kids round on boats they loved it. Transfer back was booked for 5.30 but because we didnt fly till 9 they came 70 mins late. You need a lot of time for security so I wouldn't tell them the flight time next time. The place is great and we will be back but the country could do with starting to neuter the stray dogs and cats and looking at animal welfare in general. On check in I gave £40 for 4 towel cards and on check out given £400 Dirahm back I didnt give it any thought but be aware the only shop at the airport that will take the Dirham is a overpriced tourist gift shop so i may aswel have given the £40 away. Tips: take own drinks cups with lids to ward off wasps it works a treat. Shops opposite hotel are cheaper for snacks than the one in hotel.
Visiting as a family with children. Excellent facilities hotel clean and tidy. Hotel stafff friendly warm and welcoming. Animation team really great with kids and super friendly. Rooms excellent clean and tidy cleaned daily excellent. Waterpark excellent Super holiday
I came with my my small family to this hotel and I absolutely loved it! The animation team was good enough. We had a family rooms "try to book the pool view side facing the wonderful pools and the water park" the rooms were good even the Housekeeping maids were noisy during doing the rooms. I loved the reception staff were friendly and professional we checked in quickly. And we were toke to our room earlier before the lunch. a special thanks to the bellman and young guy at the reception his name azadin, he was always helpful during our stay and he was making sure that all the issues with our room are done and he has a great memory always remembering my name and my room number since the first day. The food was varied but it needed to be improved and offer more choices in the fruits and the meals. Anyway I recommend this hotel thank you very much guys for the lovely holiday and for sure I will come back soon â¤ï¸â¤ï¸
Stayed here with my mrs in March 2019 and have mixed reviews, on arriving had to change room 3 times until we got what we asked/paid for, not all pools were clean/cleaned, Apart from that it was nice round the main pool Sunbathed all day round a quieter pool to the side of the main pool but was all told to leave this area at 5 for no reason! Which was strange as no one swam in it due to not being cleaned like other pools there and always full of dead flys and insects. Food was plenty full and mainly good with plenty of choice, we could only use one restaurant while there until our last day as none were open until our last day. As nice as it was we wouldn’t return due to location and the trouble getting our room
Stayed at this hotel with my family of 4 The stay was fantastic, from activities to staff especially the hotel guest relation zineb. She was very helpful and gave us a tour of resort and nothing was too much trouble for her. Really recommend this hotel we also was given a upgrade of the room as the room was a bit too small on the 1st night. Mona Promised us the upgrade and she gave us the best room next day.
Lets talk about the best holiday that i ever made, so from the beggining, a gentlman welcome us with a smile (moonir) and the guys in the front desk (azadin & haytem) check in so professional, nice room but i can give the cleaning 3stars from 5, nice food especialy in tagine restaurent , there is choise big up to the chefs, annimation team were good, also as the bar staff. Thank you aqua fun.
