Located 30 minutes from Taupo, our charming cabin offers a serene getaway, perfect for those looking to disconnect and unwind. Wake up to crisp country air, and end your day in the in the bath with breathtaking sunsets over the rolling hills and the starry night sky. Nestled in the heart of the countryside, this cabin offers complete privacy and tranquility, yet it’s still just a short drive from local hiking trails (Pureora, Waikato river trails and Great lake trails) and charming small towns of Kinloch, Whakamaru and Managakino. The sunsets here are second to none, with the sprawling landscape offering a perfect view as the sun dips behind the hills. The cabin includes: • Solar-powered electricity • Comfy queen-sized bed with soft linens • Fully equipped kitchenette for simple cooking • Private bathroom • Wood-burning stove for warmth and ambiance • Outdoor seating area with fire pit and barbecue • Stunning sunset views right from your porch • Double outside bath with gas hot water (room for 2 people) Perfect For: • Nature lovers looking for a peaceful retreat • Couples or solo travelers in search of solitude • Anyone wanting to experience farm life and sustainable living • Stargazers and sunset chasers Important Notes: • The cabin is accessible by car, but please note the farm tracks may be dusty or have cow poo on (1km of farm tracks off the rd). We can water blast this off for you at the cowshed on request. Please stay on the left hand side of the track to prevent hitting any tractors and motorbikes. • The nearest town with amenities is a 30-minute drive away, so make sure to stock up on supplies before you arrive. However there is local takeaway options in Hearty as dumplings and the Kinloch store. Come escape to a simpler life and enjoy the beauty of nature at its finest. Wow, what a beautiful location. Secluded and peaceful with everything we needed. So relaxing with the outdoor bath and fireplaces. Loved all the little touches to make it such a relaxing stay.The host had great communication and was very kind. Highly recommend to other couples. We will be back!!

Loved everything about this place! Beautiful peaceful setting, cosy interior with great attention to detail - all while being off the grid. We stayed in winter and the little fire did a great job of heating up the space. We enjoyed the outdoor bath at night, and the bed was super comfy. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a getaway with a bit of character. Communication with thehost was very good and we had complete privacy during our stay but I am sure help would have been at hand if required.
