You couldn’t get closer to the water if you tried …

We have stayed here a few times over the past decade and each stay has been different. That’s because nature changes often and this spot is as close to beach nature as you can be and old classic kiwi bach next to an unspoilt New Zealand. Always so good :)

A view while cooking dinner

We loved our stay. My elderly mum enjoyed the view of the beach from the comfort of the couch. I thoroughly enjoyed the view while cooking food. Kitchen has everything you need. Teenagers enjoyed being out in and on the water. And we all enjoyed abit of fishing at the beach and from the deck. Will book again.

Take me back

Always great family time at this bach - we come here couple times a year and enjoy every stay, its our home away from home. Best spot in marakopa, everything you need and the view and sunset is amazing. Great that the kids can just just down straight onto the sand and play in the water, while you are on the deck and can throw the rods straight off the deck at high tide. Communication is good and quick and Grant is always so easy and great to deal with.

Lovely weekend and stay

Nice get away

Loved our stay at this bach, the views and sunsets were amazing. Very far from shops/gas stations but thats ok. Clean property, our baby had a good time down in the water and we were able to put his tv show on before bed. No problems at all, thankyou for sharing your property with us for the weekend.
