Don't believe the title

Let's be clear from the start, the"Snug with Views of the Chilterns" does NOT have views of the Chilterns. There is a small section in the car park where the hills can be seen but not from the "Snug". The view from the "Snug" is of potted ferns to screen the main house and an overgrown path along the side of the house. Once you get over this disappointment, tha accommodation is ok, unfortunately let down by small things. The internet did not wok, in fact, the router's SSID was not even visible. No plug in the bathroom sink. Piece fell off the shower whilst in use. I was there for 7 nights but the rubbish in the bins outside were never collected. No actual cooking facilities, just a microwave but that was just disappointing, not actually a fault. There were two extractor fans but I couldn't find how to switch them on. No instructions for the dehumidifier. Plenty of heaters and good selection of cutlery. Hot water in the shower didn't last long enough to wash my hair. The check-in procedure, handled by a management company, relied on internet being available after check in time which is not always practical but thankfully worked. All in all, served a purpose but not what I was expecting.
