Great expansive room in the new block. Fabulously comfortable bed. We dined in the restaurant. I had the famous green lip mussels which were excellent, another enjoyable experience, attentive staff. I would stay at this hotel again.
They were lovely to accomodate all of us in their last room. It was an executive suite. Plenty of space and beautiful spacious bathroom. There’s a pool on site and pool bar and a fantastic restaurant plus the hotel is very central to everything. Last time I stayed there they even had bikes for hire.
Loved our stay here. We visited with 2 other friends and loved the room, the dinner and the pool and service. Rica, re manager was FABULOUS. Would I stay here again? Yes. However, the breakfast (as other reviewers have said) is way overpriced and not great. I recommend going around the corner into town instead for breakfast.
Was a wonderful stay. The only thing I would say is that the breakfast buffet is very overpriced. I’ve stayed at some of the top hotels and resorts and have never seen any of them close to the price you are charging.
We stayed in the Penthouse which worked out perfectly for a family of 4 with older children needing their own space. Full kitchen, free laundry and breakfast included were also great conveniences. Staff was so accommodating. Small pool with very comfy chaise lounges. Just not a 5 star as atmosphere is a bit sparse, but a great place to stay.
We had a great Buffet 🍬Xmas Dinner on Christmas Night. There was a good variety of dishes. The Staff were friendly, professional and attentive. The service was great Christmas decorations made the restaurant festive and bright.
We stayed two nights at Chateau Marlborough, and found it to be very pleasant. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and modern with a very nice bathroom that included a large walk-in shower. We luckily had a room with patio doors that opened onto the car park, so could park next to the room and bring luggage in that way. Very convenient. Breakfast was cooked to order and very tasty. We dined at the hotel's restaurant one night and were very pleasantly surprised to find how good it was. Too often hotels are let down by their restaurant, but not here. Our food was delicious. If I was ever staying in Blenheim again I would stay here.
This hotel is fine. It was clean and the people were nice, we just happened to be there on an unfortunate weekend. There was a garden show in town so the hotel was completely booked. We were given a room about 20 yards from reception in the main hallway. We heard every person arriving at the hotel. Luckily, the garden show crowd retires early and we were exhausted after a day of wine tasting. Tried to have breakfast the next day and there was literally nothing left after the busload of garden goers passed thru. I had already paid for the buffet and basically got yogurt.
Rooms are beautiful and the restaurant, Quench, is a class of its own. Ashlee and Anshul really made our night and the food was divine! We had the filet mignon and the salmon, which were cooked to perfection. Wine choices and ingredients were local and obviously high quality. We’ll be raving about our experience to all our friends and we can’t wait to come back here again. :)
Fantastic place to stay in Blenheim. The staff is so pleasant and helpful. The standard pillows are a bit solid but they happily provided others. The room was comfortable, as was the bed. Highly recommended.
