Lovely rustic bolthole

We spent 5 nights in this ground floor apartment at the end of April. It was perfect for us - a retired couple, one of whom has a mobility problem. The toilet and walk-in shower were immaculate and the kitchenette well equipped. The apartment has been recently refurbished to a high standard. The large TV with Freeview and streaming was mainly excellent but with some stuttering /pixelation on the live TV channels. The host/ manager responded quickly to our questions. The apartment is well located just off the main road and has secure parking. It is opposite a pub which serves food and two minutes from another restaurant. There are no shops in the village of Caldecott but plenty of shopping in nearby Corby or Uppingham. Caldecott is a good base for exploring places like Oakham, Stamford, and Market Harborough.
