Hotel very clean. Reception were all extremely helpful and friendly. Parking a bit far, but considering the location of the hotel, it is understandable. Could walk to restaurants, shopping, attractions. Train station about a 20 minute walk so able to do day trips from here pretty easily.

Il ne s'agit pas de notre premier séjour. L'hôtel est très propre et le cadre est vraiment extraordinaire. Le personnel est très agréable et la qualité des chambres est au top. De plus, du fait de l'ancienneté du bâtiment, les chambres sont très bien insonorisées.

Ulysses made us feel at home the moment we walked in the big blue front door. Breakfast was really good value. Ulysses also gave us some great tips on Dinner restaurants & museums to visit. We loved our entire time there

Beautiful historical common areas and large comfortable room. Bathroom is stylishly renovated but could be more practical - basin spout is too short for the stylish basin, and only having an option of a hand held shower nozzle was disappointing. Nevertheless it was a lovely place to stay.

My husband and I received a warm and friendly welcome, and were upgraded to a room with a balcony. (Rm 304) That elevated this rating from a 3 to a 4. The balcony is great but the chairs and table are very rusted and should be replaced. The hotel is in a central location with the main attractions being easily walkable. Linens and towels are excellent quality, and the cleaners did a good job. The bathroom’s placement is strange. Having the bed between the WC and the sink requires constant walking around the bed to wash hands and is awkward. The makeup mirror doesn’t stay upright because it’s missing the rear piece. The bed only has one bedside wall plug. We received a complimentary bottle of water as a welcome on Day 1, but only 1 small bottle (50cl ) Evian for 2 people? Housekeeping did not replace our coffee pods every day like they should have. I understand about historic buildings/old cities, but there is an unpleasant odor coming from the sink when the stopper is raised. Keep the sink stopper down. The TV has limited English language channels and there was no way to plug in the firestick to watch our content because HDMI and power are needed but not available. The ability to cast to the TV had been blocked so we used our cellular due to being unable to stay logged into hotel's internet. Again, I understand it's an old building with thick walls, but other hotels have installed repeaters for this particular issue. Area has a number of homeless or people begging.
