Enjoyed the ambiance and history. Great gift shop. The beds were not comfortable and the linens were tattered and definitely needed replacing. Staff was very friendly. Level up by having live music and offering complementary warm cookies and a happy hour. ;)

The Paisano staff are incredibly kind and helpful!!! Room upgrade due to disability and wow! Jett is a wonderful restaurant and the service was exceptional, as was the food.

Did not get room ordered with Expedia. Hotel did not accept responsibility for mix up. Did not offer reimbursement for getting 1/2 of what I reserved and I even paid before arrival. Customer before me had same issue and she was given choice of picking from 2 separate rooms. I was not given option as the suite i ordered was one of a kind and was already taken. So we got room with 2 beds terrible view and the smallest bathroom I've ever seen. Elevator was broken and made it difficult for my ailing parents using stairs. We made the best of it as the hotel is historically beautiful and it was important to make this trip enjoyable as it was on my mothers bucket list to see Marfa one last time.

I loved the history of this place! The lobby is just gorgeous and the shops inside have such unique and cute items. The rooms are just okay, but I guess that's because of their age. We came back after a day out and our door was wide open! This is not okay. Luckily, nothing was stolen, but management did take off thirty-percent for that error and another issue they had, so kudos to them!

While we were there, the elevator was broken (and appeared to have been for some time). The room was well decorated. The bed was comfortable, but the air conditioning couldn’t keep up.

So I would love to give you all 5 stars: The staff was friendly through our stay, the room was quiet, comfortable and clean, and the pool was clean and obviously well-taken care of. However, I really couldn’t give 5 stars because of the gnats in the bathroom. I’m not sure where they were coming from, as the window was closed. Also, there were a couple live bugs on the a/c unit. Please get an exterminator involved if needed! Despite this one issue, we’d stay again. Hopefully the big problem will have been taken care of by then.

The tv didn’t work first night and air conditioning was also not cooling. The front desk clerk was a young man who could not find another room to move us to and suggested we go to alpine the next town over but it was midnight and bad weather but hoped “hoped I appreciated that” which was so condescending .
