Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Lovely week in Marco Island

The condo was nicely furnished and comfortable. The beds, linens, beach equipment and kitchen all well equipped, though we didn't cook. The renovations are nicely done with many up graded features.

Great beach retreat!

We met our college-aged daughter here for a break between semesters and what a great location! The beach out front was amazing and much cleaner (less algae) and much less crowded than the resort areas. We were able to easily walk to Tigertail for excellent shelling or go the other direction to have tacos and margaritas at the restaurants at the Marriott. We were able to swim with lots of room to ourselves. The beautiful condo was well equipped and very comfortable for our family with amazing views from the 15th floor. Highly recommend!

Awesome property!

This was our 2nd year staying at South Seas. This 15th floor property was beautiful. Just like home, it had everything you would ever want for a beach vacation. No need to pack, sheets, towels, beach towels, or items for the beach. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the condo and the South Seas complex. I highly recommend this unit.

Dreams Made on Marco

We loved the condo! It was clean and homey. Lots of great linens, deck furniture and beach gear. The kitchen was pristine! The only issues were the beach chairs and living room couch. All are in need of an upgrade.

Unbelievable!

This unit is ready to go....has everything you need for a peaceful relaxing vacation. Everything in the unit was exceptional. The view from the front of the unit is as beautiful as the back door of the unit. Can not say enough.....just exceptional!

The unit itself was clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated and had a GORGEOUS view.

The condo had everything you need to feel at home. The bed and linens were comfortable, the shower was very nice and the kitchen had everything you need to make a snack or meal. The balcony was very relaxing with a stunning view, however you can't quite see the sunset as it's right around the corner of the building, but still great. There was only one beach towel, but since I was by myself it wasn't an issuue.

What a view

The view from the balcony is amazing. The condo is updated and loaded with extras. Many coolers, Tupperware, coffee filters, beach everything. The bed was comfortable. The only small (very small) negative is the sofa cushions are sagging so not the cost comfortable. Regardless we had a great time

Very pretty condo!

The rental company was amazing! We had to reschedule our stay from last year to this year and Cindy was wonderful to work with. And the owners were very understanding that we had to cancel in 2020 due to Covid. They didn't even charge us an extra fee! The view every morning was wonderful. You are right on Tigertail beach. Be sure to rent your own pontoon boat when you stay and visit Keewaydin Island. It was the best part of our trip!

Lovely condo.

The condo was great, well stocked kitchen, linens, and clean. Beautiful view. The key situation to get anywhere is cumbersome. It took us several days to figure out what key gets us anywhere in the facility. Pool staff was rude to us when we had a drink near the pool and there is no food at all allowed in the pool area, so we only spent one afternoon there. It didn’t feel like “renters” were welcome. Overall a nice stay in Marco Island.

Beach vacation

Right on the beach, a long walk to water but great location! Property was clean, well kept and the amenities are all you need for a family beach vacation. They were doing some construction on the adjacent building but it did not disturb us in this unit. Condo has great updated bathrooms and AC worked great when we came back from the beach as it was in the 90s when we visited. We love to sit on the balcony and watch the ocean and this unit has a great balcony and comfortable outdoor furniture. The only negative is the walk to the water but it is very manageable.

Happy Renter!

A great condo - the owners have thought of everything. Nicely renovated and decorated and very clean, but more than that the little touches of an umbrella in the closet, good hair dryers, and a white noise machine!!! Comfortable lounge chairs on the patio made reading on the porch a delight - not flimsy plastic chairs. We were so thrilled - it was the best rental I've ever stayed in and the views were spectacular. A delight to make coffee and see the beach (and a good size kitchen)!!! People seemed surprised by the trek from the complex to the beach, but we didn't mind as it was a more quiet side of the island. We highly recommend this condo as well as Marco Island - such a charming and special place!

Good location.... clean and bright

We were in the condo just last week. Condo is clean and well stocked for our stay. Pool was used almost every day. Being on the 15 floor we were worried about the use of the elevators, but they ran very quickly. They were replacing doors and windows in other units during the week..... noisy from 8 to 5 every day.... but it has to be done and we knew in advance that the work was ongoing. About the only thing that needs to be addressed is the carpeting in the bedrooms.... it needs to be replaced.... all in all a good stay.

Ideal Choice!

I booked this property on short notice with almost no knowledge about Marco Island (MI). Fortunately, I made a very good decision after learning more about MI. 1. This condo is in a great location for beach access and dining options. NOTE: MI has only 4 public beach access points if you don't have a property on the beach. There is no parking at them. It is NOT an issue with this property but it would have been at houses not on the beach. I didn't know that prior to my visit and it would have been a major dissatisfier for us. 2. This condo was spotless upon arrival. 3. The property in general is well maintained and clean. 4. The property mgr communicated frequently. 5. The multiple keys are a pain in the tail so bring a lanyard. 6. This condo was much more cost effective than the Hilton or Marriott AND it offers more flexibility in terms of having a kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and a balcony that is beachfront. Overall, my stay at this condo was ideal. This was a great choice - no issues, no complaints. It could not have been better. Loved it!

THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL CONDO! LOOK NO FURTHER!!

This place is even better than the pictures. It was absolutely beautiful and clean. Don't let the fact that you have to go to another location to pick up and drop of keys deter you, as it is just down the road (1/2 mile). Marco island is clean and quiet. The walk to the beach was a bit, but not a negative or a complaint (1/3mile from condo to water's edge). The owners closet for this condo had a cart and beach chairs and beach toys. Also, the owners have a couple of soft coolers for use which was great. The views from the balcony are great. The entire condo was awesome and clean! The beds were very comfortable and wifi worked great. We (myself, wife and 2 kids ages 13 and 17) had a great time. The only thing I will tell you is that when you check in for the first time, you need to use your key to get into the building. I either forgot or was not told that. Not a big deal, just know that. Check in and parking was great. We felt very secure as keys and/or codes were needed to get into the complex. Others have complained about this but it really is not a big deal to carry a couple keys in your beach bag with you. The pool area was nice. I wish you could bring food down there but I understand that some people would leave a mess. Just grab a plastic container with your favorite beverage and enjoy the sun and pool. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone wanting a quiet and relaxing vacation. It was clean and beautiful. I know it sounds like a few negatives, but honestly, nothing negative about this place. Just a few things for you to know. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for the great stay.

beachfront getaway!

My husband and I (late 20's) stayed in this wonderful condo for an amazing week! I chose this condo specifically because of how clean and updated it was from the pictures and the pictures did not disappoint!! The condo felt very homelike, but still a slight beachy flair. Very tastefully decorated. There were only 2 of us so we did not use the guest bedroom and had PLENTY of room for the two of us. The view from the balcony (and master bedroom) is great! The complex was very quiet as I think we were probably some of the youngest guests there. We saw a few young families with young children, but they were pretty quiet. We did not ever actually use the pool, but it seemed well maintained - not very large for how many units were in the building, but the beach is plenty large to spread out on. The hike to the beach from our condo (and beach to condo) was a little rough some days, but it was worth it! The water was the perfect temperature and it was not crowded at all even with it being the week before Memorial Day. We had everything we needed in the condo- we did bring extra toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags. There were beach chairs and toys provided, we brought our own beach chairs with us but it was nice to know that there were some there. The grocery carts provided down by the management office were great for bringing our items in and out! I would not recommend this location necessarily for families with young children unless you plan to spend most of the time at the pool - the walk to the ocean water is quite a trip with all of your beach items (we loaded up everyday as we did not come back in until around 4 pm) I could not imagine taking everything for adults and children, but we saw several families that did! We would love to come back in the future and highly recommend the condo and location! Barbara was also great to deal with. Always very prompt responses to our emails!
