Host was great, location was great, very accessible to everything in Marco Island. There were a few things about the house we didn’t love but it served its purpose well and has all the amenities necessary for a group in their 40s to enjoy. Just need more coffee pods next time!

A true Gem!

We were on the island for a Mother/Daughter weekend getaway. 2 teens and 7 women. The space was perfect. The backyard and pool area kept us well entertained day and night! The kitchen came stocked with all we needed to cook and enjoy a night in. Our host was so kind and friendly! Communication throughout was excellent. I would just note to bring extra towels for a large group if using the pool.

Good, but Milton shortened our stay

We had planned a four-night stay that got shortened to two nights due to Hurricane Milton. Given that & the rainy weather than proceeded Milton, we did not get to take full advantage of the property. Other thoughts from the group: 1. House has lots of space. The number of bedrooms & bathrooms was great. My teens loved not having to share a room. Spacious common areas were comfortable. 2. The games (pool table, darts, newly installed putting green) were a plus & things we were able to do in spite of rainy weather. 3. While not walkable to beach, drive is direct & easy. 4. Grocery & drug store are < 1/2 mile. 5. It's on a major road which we didn't expect but we were early enough in the season that it wasn't an issue. 6. The pool was smaller than expected. We didn't use it due to the weather, but it is more for a small group standing around or little kids. I swim laps for exercise & the teens like to play pool games which we would not have been able to do. 7. Weather didn't allow for a lot of it, but the decks on the second floor were nice to view the water across the street & the backyard. 8. My octogenarian parents were a little uncomfortable with the stairs. There is a railing & the steps are wide, so I think it was more their issue than something wrong with the house. Just mentioning it in case you have folks who don't like stairs. 9. Communication with host was outstanding, especially given the circumstances regarding Milton.

Huge disappointment

We had high hopes for this property, however 3 of our 4 days the pool wasn’t clean enough to swim in. In our second day they locked the thermostat, it was so hot an miserable upstairs that we couldn’t sleep at night. Also, the house layout was very strange. The downstairs is open to the outside, no way to lock the pool area/gameroom and luckily we have older kids so they were still able to sleep in the downstairs rooms. Otherwise that would have been an issue as well. There were also two doors that would not lock.

Lovely stay at Casa Marco

Our stay at Casa Marco was really nice. House was very clean and spacious. Nice bathrooms and the kitchen was stocked with all the cookware we needed. Fun pool and game area! Host was very responsive!
