We just checked out of after 3 nights at this absolutely beautiful resort. We were lucky enough to have a sea view luxury room and couldn’t fault anything! The room was stunning, the view from the balcony was also stunning; the staff were all very friendly, helpful and attentive. The hotel also has its own private beach and pier. The fresh champagne breakfast has been our favourite breakfast anywhere in the world! Although we didn’t eat dinner at the hotel (we wished we’d had as we were left disappointed when visiting their neighbouring hotel) we did have drinks in the evening garden terrace which had a lovely ambience. The service in the bar here really was excellent. Our only very small niggle is it’s a shame their restaurants didn’t sell paella at night that we could see on a menu. We tried to get to MC beach but I’m guessing in September it wasn’t open as much as in peak season. Apart from this very small point we would thoroughly recommend this hotel and a sea view room.

Love this hotel staff always helpful They have the best parties on a Friday night and the main restaurant serves outstanding food . A word to the wise hot or not they have a struck dress code absolutely No shorts in the restaurant. If only going to the court yard for music ambience and to relax then you can Can’t wait till next summer

We stayed for 3 nights in a double deluxe Seaview room, which had a lovely aspect with filtered views of the beach through trees. We were a little apprehensive about room quality given some recent comments about the rooms being dated & worn, but were very pleased with our room - a good size, especially by European standards and well presented. The style is perhaps a little dated, especially in the bathroom, but well maintained. Concierge and porter service was excellent with all our request met. Restaurant service was good (especially Alphonso at the MC cafe) with the exception of the beach club who were unhelpful and pretentious. Grounds were immaculately maintained with plentiful comfortable loungers.

We just checked out of the Marbella Club today & it met my very high expectations in every way! From the glorious setting, to the luxurious accommodations and the immensely professional staff! The moment we arrived ,the concierge Jose Carlos was in full knowledge of all the important information & kept on top of my every need as a traveler from overseas. Also the gentleman who handled my luggage, Juan Diego was so kind and thoughtful I knew this was going be a great stay because the professionalism of everyone around was very apparent! And also a shout out to the fabulous hospitality intern Javier who told us about the glorious lunch down on the beach at MC beach - a stand out for me and I've had lunch around the world and all sorts of places and this one I'll remember forever! Also lovely housekeeper Maribel Who spoke no English and I spoke in Spanish but she seemed to know my every need! We will return! A tip: If you like rooms with a gorgeous & authentic Spanish Decor we loved room 365. Breakfast amazingly fresh and outdoor cocktail bar has singer and delicious cocktails & bar snacks. I'm writing this with such length because I know when people complain they spend lots of time complaining but when things are good sometimes people don't take the time To complement what they've enjoyed! My husband worked out at the gym and loved his two training sessions with Dieter and thought it was top level as were his two massages with Ernesto! Hope to be back soon. Felt very spoiled!

We spent 4 nights at the Marbella Club last week. I was not sure what to really expect before we arrived due to mixed reviews. I was very pleased with the overall experience. The grounds are very well designed and truly elegant as you wonder through the facility. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the time we spent there was very enjoyable. There was an understated elegance that I truly appreciated. For the price and reputation I dont think it completely delivers. When you are billing yourself as the top of the top you need to really fire on all cylinders. I think they are about 85% there. Our rooms were nice but not fantastic. Partly due to the general decor and architecture but I feel like it was due for a renovation especially the bathroom. Times have changed every top hotel has wonderful bathrooms. The rooms are nice size but try to get one on the top floor. The kids above us seem to like to have a dance party every morning. It was not awful but when you out late its not how you want to be woken up. The pool area was a little beat up and could use a little freshening. MC Beach was a good lunch place service was a bit weak at lunch better for dinner. I think they could have more causal seating for a later afternoon cocktail. The grill had a wonderful breakfast and dinner was fantastic the one night we ate there. In hide sight I would have eaten there a second night as most of our other dinners were just ok. Again overall we did enjoy the experience. I have been to better operations for this type of money. There is a new standard these days for the high-end of hotels. The raw materials are there to play in the league but they need to polish up their act a bit to truly be there.

It’s been many years since I had stayed at the Marbella club, it holds precious memories for me so I was reluctant to return in case I would be disappointed. I stayed 5 nights with my partner. Overall it was good but didn’t have the wow factor I had remembered. Our suite was immaculate but the bathroom was in need of refurbishing. The beach club has been ruined by excessive building of extra hotel rooms ... it’s lost it’s cool vibe. The hotel’s main restaurant was always excessively busy food is ok but nothing amazing. The bar was great with nightly terrific singers. Try Nobu next door for a great meal in an atmospheric setting. One of the best things at the MBC was free flow Pol Roger at breakfast!... good staff & overall excellent service.

We stayed for 7 nights and found this place to be a mixed bag and disappointing. We had a suite that was recently remodeled and quite nice. Spacious, comfortable and well designed. The grounds are beautiful and given the army of gardeners, obviously get a lot of care. I can’t say the same for the guests and am puzzled by all the gushing on here about the service which was on par with that of a Hyatt (and I don’t mean Park). We never got anything we didn’t request, several arrangements with the concierge were bungled, zero proactive pool service, etc. The food was fine but nothing special - overpriced bland buffets for breakfast and lunch. Dinner at the Grill was very good and MC Cafe was hit or miss but mostly miss, although this was the one place where service was high caliber, albeit frantic and understaffed. Housekeeping was uneven - their schedule was always changing and dirty dishes and laundry sat outside our room and others all day long on several days. The spa was fine although the facility itself was dark and a bit gloomy. Pools and pool furniture are old and there’s a fair amount of deferred maintenance in general around the property. Expect stupidly high prices - 52 euros for sunscreen, 90 euros for kids club. Bottom line, if you want an expensive, clubby, European hotel that needs a facelift and that sits in a crowded resort town on a rocky unappealing beach and if you don’t care about service or attention to detail, then it’s worth considering. If you’re thinking this will be a FS or O&O experience in Spain, think again.

I had been here maybe 10 years or so ago, and had been greatly impressed, brought my family for a long weekend. The entire customer experience, from reservations, to check in, all the way to check out was flawless, and extremely enjoyable. The property is magnificent and has a certain feel to it, calm and serenity, and the staff could not be better. From the housekeeping to the waiters at every restaurant to the check in staff, everyone so professional and courteous and efficient. We rented a two bedroom villa, it was just a piece of paradise. The breakfast is wonderful, incredible spread, with cook waiting for your order, all types of breads, cheeses, meats, fresh juices, attentive service, white tablecloth tables. The other restaurants are wonderful if a bit pricy. We especially appreciated the beach set up, you just walk down from the salt water pool, and the hotel staff will set you up on lounge chairs on the beach, there is a cabana for drink service, and sometimes an attendant comes by with complimentary fresh fruit. You can walk roughly 40 minutes to the right and hit Puerto Banus and all the madness and restaurants, or 30 minutes to the left and hit Marbella. Highly recommend this hotel, it is pricey but you definitely get your money's worth.

Absolutely excellent! Zero complaints! A wonderful place for couples and families. Every staff member was exceedingly friendly and beyond accommodating. The hotel grounds are stunning and diverse in their plants, trees and flowers and perfectly maintained. Restaurants are great as is the very impressive Kids Club. Our rooms were spacious, comfortable, quiet and updated. The weather was gorgeous! We cannot wait to visit again!

The location is amazing, the seaview is really good if you can the right seats for the buffét. The food is amazing, and the service is without a question the best I’ve ever experienced. I can recommend this resturant without a doubt.
