If bringing a boat you can utilize Grassy key Marina to dock the boat, it is less than 1/4 of a mile away and Grassy key marina has a convenience store there as well.

This Beachfront home sits among the palms on the south coast of Grassy Key on a sandy piece of property that includes a beach, a fenced-in pool terrace, multiple tables, lounge chairs, and umbrellas to maximize your time spent outside.

Enter by way of the covered porches on the front and rear of the house, and step inside to be greeted by central air-conditioning, cool tile floors, and open, light-filled living space. There's a well-equipped kitchen with an island breakfast bar, a dining space that sits in the light of a window, and a large living area with a pair of sofas and a TV with cable and streaming capability.

All four bedrooms have TVs, and two are primary suites with private bathrooms. Additional family-friendly amenities include a washer/dryer, a high chair and booster seat, pack n play, kids' toys and games, and a baby gate. 2 kayaks included.

Important Information for Florida Keys Beaches:

Please note Keys beaches are not like mainland Florida beaches. There is no surf and most of the time you will only see small waves hitting the shore. The water is inaccessible from the land. If the water Tide is high, you can kayak and paddleboard out from the shore. If the Tide is low, there's no access to the Ocean From the beach.

Beaches in the Keys, just like beaches on the mainland, have seaweed that comes and goes. We make it a point to pick up garbage that might come ashore on the beach that is within reach, but we cannot control the seaweed as it comes ashore.

The beach here at this home is man-made. If you stepped into the water you're gonna find that there is sinking sand within a few yards of the shore. On high tide you can swim out to the Sandy turtle grass for snorkeling. The experience of wading to this area can be uncomfortable. It is best to kayak out a few yards. Water shoes are a must.

So why have a beach in the Florida Keys? To sit and look at the ocean from your very own private beach and watch the sea life swim by .. tarpon and bonefish frequent these flats you can see them tailing by. Porpoise swimming and breaching the surface and maybe even a sting ray jumping out of the water and the ever changing water color depending on wind and tide. A great sense of calmness will over take you in this idyllic setting.
