There is a private entrance and plenty of room to breathe or to find a nook to sit and read a book, gaze at the scenery, or listen to the birds. An outdoor bath and firepit overlook the forest. The cottage is a comfortable and tranquil getaway location with easy access to the Great Walks and Mapleton village.

Gracie Cottage is a peaceful hideaway perched above an artisan rose farm, offering sweeping views across the Obi Valley and beyond. Nestled within private gardens, this charming two-bedroom cottage is the perfect winter retreat—designed for rest, warmth, and quiet moments. With a private entrance and driveway, it offers complete seclusion while still being close to Mapleton village and the Sunshine Coast Hinterland’s Great Walks.

Inside, the cottage welcomes you with two comfortable bedrooms and a cosy lounge featuring a wood-burning combustion stove—perfect for curling up with a book or sharing a glass of red by the fire. Reverse-cycle air-conditioning ensures comfort no matter the weather. A well-equipped kitchen with a Smeg oven, coffee machine, and handcrafted ceramic ware invites slow breakfasts and relaxed cooking. A modern bathroom and an inviting dining space complete the warm, country interior.

Step outside to discover three beautiful verandahs: one with a large outdoor table for long lunches, one with Adirondack chairs for winter sun-soaking, and one with a breakfast bar overlooking the peaceful gardens. As the cool night falls, slip into the outdoor bathtub under the stars or gather by the firepit, where you can toast marshmallows and enjoy the crisp forest air.

A contemplation garden and rose-lined paths invite you to explore the property slowly, with ever-changing light across the hills creating a serene winter backdrop. Although Gracie Cottage offers complete guest privacy, it sits on a working farm—a place where nature and life quietly go on around you.
