Spacious, comfortable, tucked away home in a prime location in Leelanau County. The hosts thought of everything to make our stay feel like home. They were excellent communicators throughout our stay resolving any minor glitch in a timely manner. We would highly recommend this rental.

This is a nice family getaway property. It has a wonderful outdoor area with a fire pit & plenty of firewood. We used it almost every night during our 2-week stay! We also enjoyed watching the deer in the yard on many mornings. You have everything you need for your stay, although for us, there was too much (kitchen & bath cabinets were packed full, as well as book shelves, etc.). For a short stay, this might be okay for some, but for us it was not ideal. As a host, Tricia is very accessible & responsive.

Perfect Escape

We couldn't have asked for a better experience! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The property was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described-if not better. The attention to detail made the space feel luxurious.The location was perfect; close enough to everything we wanted to do, yet peaceful and private enough to truly relax. We especially loved the grill and fire pit with access to tons of firewood. Communication with the host was seamless. Tricia was friendly, and provided great local tips that made our stay even more special.We highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for an stress-free, memorable getaway!

We loved this location and property. The house is self is organized extremely well and the owner thought of every single thing that we could have needed. We packed probably two full bins of things that we didn't need since Trish thought of it all.Also, Trish checked in with us just to let us know of amazing sunset spots that the average visitor might not know--and tips and tricks for hanging out in the area--including which places had live music and the best pizza. She was so kind and extremely responsive--not that we needed a THING. Lastly, we have been renting in the area for 20 years. These were some of the best mattresses I have slept on unlike other rentals.

Excellent rental!

My family loved staying here! The location could not be more perfect. We went to the dunes, the beach, the Leelanau Peninsula, and Traverse City. The house itself had a secluded feel (we loved watching the deer in the yard each evening) while still being close to everything. We had everything we needed and all slept great. Our host was wonderful. I highly recommend!

Amazing Stay

One of the best places to stay in Northern Michigan/ Sleeping Bear Dunes area. Tricia was a great host and made our stay comfortable and any issues we had she was super responsive. Great kitchen with lots of gadgets to cook great meals with. Beds were comfortable and the wood fired stove made for cozy mornings in. Location is great. Will definitely be coming back!

Best VRBO Experience - Beyond Accommodating!

10/10 experience. Tricia is a phenomenal host. We booked a 2-night family getaway with our kids (8 and 1). Tricia truly thinks of everything - when we arrived there were kids books and bath toys ready and accessible, maps & guides for activities in the area, as well as menus for restaurants she recommended. The well stocked kitchen and other extras throughout the house made our stay stress-free. The house itself is very clean and spacious with incredible views. Feels like a luxurious home away from home! We will absolutely be back!!

MI Honeymoon

The location was gorgeous, the home was clean & comfortable. Tricia was very responsive. She has thought of everything from cozy blankets, kitchen needs, menus & attraction information. Michigan is absolutely gorgeous in the Fall & Tricia’s location is so peaceful. I would wholeheartedly recommend staying here !!!!

Perfect!

Looking for a weekend getaway in conjunction with Sleeping Bear Half-Marathon. Perfect! Has everything you need. Clean. Quiet. Watch the stars. Take a hike. Enjoy a movie in front of the wood-burning stove. Enjoy a fire outside. Listen for deer as they move about the neighboring forest at night...wowza! Full-kitchen. Will be back!

A great getaway

This was the perfect home base for our family. A short drive to exploring the dunes and leelanau peninsula. Tricia gave us excellent recommendations for where to go and what to do to make the most of our time. Everything was comfortable and clean. Would definitely recommend!
