Nice room, however, sound system out of order, so all tv sound was in bathroom and because it was so load and could not be turned down, I could not watch tv out of decency to the neighbor guests. I told this 2 times to reception during 2 days, but returning to my room nothing had been repaired, but most of all they did not even leave a note, they ignored it. Breakfast scrambled eggs made of powder and tasteless.
Clean hotel, helpful staff... a nice break after a business day. Very good breakfast with a variety of fruits, yoghurt and bread. My first visit at the restaurant and had the fish "en croute" : delicious !! We will be back with you again ! Should we be here on leasure we would definitely book this hotel too.
I recently stayed at the Hotel La Favorita for one night during a business trip. The hotel was very clean, the furniture seemed new and the staff friendly. The room was modern and a good size. My only negative comments are that there are too many light switches in the bedroom, and turning off the lights at night was like a puzzle. Also, there were no irons available at all throughout the hotel, which for a business trip was a real disaster. I would say it's a bit pricey for what it is, but it was all I needed for one night.
I was there for a concert and the hotel is just behind the Palabam. It is anyway a great place to stay because it is 15 min walking distance from Mantova down towns. The hotel is great. Breakfast very good
Hotel outside the city but really nice, The food in the restaurant is of a high standard, the chef really good. The restaurant's staff was not up to the rest of the hotel. Overall, the hotel level is high
I do not know how words can express what I was going through on that so called "hotel". I made a reservation for two nights as I was planning to attend a concert at the 'PALABAM' hall nearby. after the first night I was told by the reception manager that the hotel is suddenly 'fully booked' and that I have to evacuate my room immediately. I refused to do that since all the other hotels nearby were fully booked as well. he threatened to call the police on me and my girlfriend (!!) so with no other choice, we got kicked out to the street with our suitcases with no where to go to. After few hours we finally found a hotel a 6 miles away (!) from the concert hall. Our bad experience with the hotel dosen't ends here. after the concert we couldn't find a cab to take us back to the new hotel (it was 2 AM,), and also we couldn't contact the local taxi station since they don't speak english. with no other choice left in my hand (it was raining and freezing outside,as my girlfriend started shivering), I entered the hotel 'La Favorita' and asked the reception desk if they can call a taxi for me, and I even offered paying them for that. the man who worked there told me he won't do it unless I order a room there, as the woman next to him stared at us and giggled (WTF!!). with no other choice (and no thanks to this darn hotel!) - I managed to call a taxi with the help of Google Translate. Also (on the first night): While a business conference was taking place at the ground floor, I were using the public computer on the lobby inorder to print the concert tickets I purchesed. as I was on the computer, the hotel manager kept staring at us as he was going back and forth near us, implying he want the computer to be available for the 'more important' guests of the hotel. And for the breakfast: DISGUSTING! The eggs was raw and tasted old and sour, the bread was dry and hard as rock, and that coffee machine.... oh boy... it was like weird yellow water with some tiny black particles floating in it. it wasn't taste no where as close to a coffee. eventually we ate only the closed yogurts they had there and drank water. I call everyone who see this. don't waste your money on this hotel. sleeping in the street or in the car is better than a place like this.
Perhaps just our impression but it definitely looked more worn than when we stayed for the first time a year ago. The carpets in the corridors look dirty and could do with replacing. The rooms are still good and are certainly clean. The staff are cheerful and helpful and there's plenty of parking.
We stayed at this hotel during our visit in Lombardi. The hotel was a suggestion from my boyfriend's uncle who lives in the city. It was a great and nice stay. Everything was clean, the bed and the pillows were nice and the staff very friendly.
I and my wife were on our way to the Dolomites, while it was the middle of the night, we looked hotel close to the way. We called the hotel number at 1 am and we answered and invited to come. We did check in very late and got very nice and clean room. Tomorrow breakfast was great and the hotel located very close to supermarket and other shopping places.
The location is convenient, close to the motorway as well as to the city. Plenty of parking places in front of the hotel is available. In general the hotel is ok, beds are fine and the room was clean, however don’t expect too much. The carpet on the second floor is worn out and looks terrible, the breakfast provided has in my opinion nothing to do with a four star hotel. If you get assigned the family room no. 208, reject it, since the big window cannot be closed properly, the hotel lies beside a roundabout therefore forget a good sleep in a quiet room. The hotel tries to impress with the design however details (why just one mineral water for free is offered to a family?) and particularly regular repair maintenance are missing - it is unlikely that I'm the first guest who noticed that in the stated room each by-passing car or truck can be heard well.
