Everything was very clean, owners were very nice. My only complaint is that I couldn’t lock the door with a secondary latch, and the extra room we had didn’t have air conditioning. But other than that it was a great stay!

Basic older motel. Pros: great location. Cons: traffic and ac noise. (I was in an annex room, not main building.). Furniture and bathroom older. If you’re just looking for a place to sleep it’s good, but not so good if you spend any time in the room. Front Porch coffee shop down the street is awesome.

Happy we stayed

Scarborough was a pleasant, clean, and quiet place to stay. It had a fridge and microwave, so you couldn't cook there. It was average size, but we made due. It's on the main road in OBX, so very close to everything, very handy. The manager, Dill, was extremely friendly and helpful. He was very accommodating. It was a nice place to stay plus reasonably priced, we were very satisfied.

Checking in and out was easy. We were upgraded to a private cabin room with a king bed by the owner, which was unexpected but much appreciated. It was clean and the bed was comfy. Would stay again.
