Overall i have a big room with a deluxe room type that i have booked, but so bad that the free wifi that offer from the hotel is very bad because i can't connect all night long until this morning, and the gym a little bit very scary doesn't have instructor to wacth out and the facility is so poor i think
Our implementing partner organized a two day Workshop in this hotel. The meeting venue was spacious and has sufficient light. The food was great. Internet connection during the second day of Workshop did not work well due to power cut or technical problem. Overall it was good experience.
Actually not first time came to this place. Even though the hotel already build around 10 years ago, the room still OK and clean. You will find helpfull staff, there is grocery next the hotel and the hotel just around 20-30 minutes from the airport
Other than the location, which is convenient (in the center of Manokwari), everything about this hotel was unexceptional and disappointing. Starting with the lethargic receptionist, who made us wait almost 40 minutes to get into our room (despite the fact that we checked in at 4:30 in the afternoon); then the rooms - aging/leaking bathroom fixtures, ineffective air conditioning units, noisy hum of the exhaust fans, and worn bedding, the smoke-filled lobby and coffee shop, and, finally, the bland offerings in the restaurant.
This hotel in downtown so little bit far from airport. My room 334 have spacious area. TV maybe only 21 inch with few channel. I can't view Premier League from Bein Sport because there no channel for that. Bathroom very small and bathup dirty.
This was my first stay. I ran a business event here. The staffs were very helpful and friendly. The room was ok. The breakfast, lunch, and meal, were very good for me. I grew up in east part of Indonesia, and all the meals provided here were very home like meal. I love it! Overall a pleasant stay!
We stayed at the hotel for one night each side of a trip to the Arfak Mountains to see Birds of Paradise. The first night was booked online at very short notice due to one of our bags being delayed at Heathrow, but the staff at the front desk were helpful and gave us our room even though it was only 10am. We also managed to arrange with the reception staff to hire a 4x4 vehicle and driver for the next day to take us to the Arfak Mountains so we could meet up with the legendary bird guide Zeth Wonggor. Despite basic English on their side, and non existent Indonesian on our side, we managed to make ourselves understood and the staff, particularly Yudha were very patient and helpful. Maybe now that the hotel knows where birders want to be taken, it could help other birders travelling independently in the future by arranging similar transport. The vehicle also picked us up and returned us to the hotel a week later. The room was large and decent, however the key card for the first room didn't work, with the result that each time we went out and returned a member of staff had to accompany us to our room! This was more inconvenient for them than for us, and by late afternoon they decided to give us a different room, with a key card that worked! We ate in the hotel on both evenings, with the french fries and spring rolls particularly welcome after a week of very plain food up the mountains. The large supermarket right next door was also very convenient and allowed us to easily buy the large quantity of food we needed to take with us. No beer of course, as we were told the whole city is 'dry'. The karaoke in the lobby/restaurant on our second evening was pretty bad and there was no way of escaping it if you were eating, as the dining room had been moved to the lobby to make room for a conference in the normal restaurant. The locals seemed to be enjoying themselves though! Overall I would recommend, as there aren't too many hotel options in Manokwari and it was a welcome refuge after returning for the very basic conditions in the Arfarks. Seeing the Birds of Paradise did make the trip worthwhile though!

Everything was great, I really enjoyed staying there. supermarket and KFC are just closeby. Only the problem I had was about payments. I did a direct pay on Swissbel's online payment system for two nights a week before my stay and it said that it was a prepayment and charged at the time of booing. I also received sms from my bank that the charge had been made by the swissbel international. When I arrived at the hotel a week later, they asked me to pay saying that I haven't pay it yet and I said I have paid online. then they allowed me to stay at the hotel but when I checked out they still asked to pay. I was so mad about it. I had similar experience with swissbel Makassar. I So online payment management at swissbell international is the worst I have ever had.
I was here on a bussiness trip for a day. I got the expensive rate for standard room. Make sure you have an advance book since only few hotels aroud here. The room is quite spacious, the bathroom has a bathup, too bad with the small crack on its bathup wall. They have standard amenities, no hairdryer though. The room looks clean but lil bit slippery. The best thing about this hotel is the location: city center. You can find local food on the neighbourhood and it is within walking distance. The worse: lack of maintenance.
