Hotel and spas in Mankessim
What should I bring to a spa hotel?Spa hotels are all about relaxing and leaving the world totally behind, so bring clothing that is casual, loose and easy to slip into. T-shirts and yoga pants are ideal. Toweling robes and slippers are traditional spa attire, but these are usually supplied by the hotel. Considering going for a swim or trying out a yoga class? Toss some gym gear, trainers and a swimming suit in your suitcase as well. If your hotel has a restaurant, find out if there's any kind of dress code — you may need to bring a smart outfit to wear for dinner.

Ridge Royal Hotel
5/5 Excellent
"Room was very clean and very well decorated. The buffet breakfast had nice selection. Staff extremely efficient, helpful and professional. Definitely would stay there again and highly recommend."

Oasis Beach Resort
4/5 Good
"Unfortunately, the stay fell far below expectations. We were not told the hotel was undergoing renovations, which became clear on arrival. Our first room had a balcony door that wouldn’t lock, so we moved. The second room was well located but had major issues: the toilet never flushed (we were given a bucket), there was mould on the walls and curtains, the fridge was broken, and the water was often unavailable or ran brown without warning. We also experienced drain flies in the bathroom, regular power outages, and poor ventilation because the doors and windows couldn’t be safely secured. The mosquito door was off its runners, and the windows weren’t one‑way, so we had to keep the curtains closed.
When I raised these issues, the receptionist said a late checkout would still incur a fee, which felt unreasonable given the unresolved problems. We were also told we had to leave for incoming guests, even though the toilet hadn’t been fixed. Although breakfast was included, we were told tea and coffee would cost extra because it was “complimentary,” which was confusing.
We also observed poor food hygiene, including pizza dough left uncovered with flies on it. We reported everything to the manager at checkout. While staff were polite, the visit was overshadowed by serious maintenance issues, poor communication, and a lack of follow‑up."
