"Not sure how this place has good reviews.Front desk gentleman was rude which started off the night. Hotel itself in need of a major upgrade but ok, room should be good, nope! Dingy, stinks, AC works horrible, rooms smells like mildew, stains and wear and tear on everything. Checked in late or wouldn’t have stayed, not sure I’d allow my dog to sleep there"

"This cozy cottage was perfect for our annual Mother's Day weekend! Even though it rained all weekend, we happily stayed indoors playing games and making memories. We will definitely be back to do some bike riding with the bike path right in front and the Trace so close by as well as the lakefront. We enjoyed lunch at Rip's and visiting the historic hardware store and museum in nearby Covington. Our host was very accommodating and informative. Great cottage in the trees! "
