Located in the center of Mandello del Lario in a Lombard banister house of XVIII century. The structure consists of 2 housing units with a common large courtyard. We offer independent apartment with bathroom. Guests can use the courtyard with tables,
Mandello del Lario lies on the waters of the eastern shore of Lake Como, located on a peninsula is dominated from behind by the walls and towers of the Grigna. It is a tourist place by the excellent climate, generous with walks and climbs of all lengths and difficulty.
You can still visit the ancient workshop where Carlo Guzzi, with the help of our grandfather Giorgio Ripamonti, built in 1919 the prototype called Guzzi-Parodi

Wonderful stay

We were warmly welcomed by Jackie(Giovanni) our host. Upgraded us for free to a much larger and spacious apt. We were invited to a wonderful night of music and wine in his cantina below with friends and other guests. A few days later Jackie asked if we were interested to attend a dinner party at a friends home for some home cooked regional cuisine. For a reasonable fee we had a truly incredible experience. In all it was an awesome stay in Mandello!

Wonderful experience

The hosts of this property are the reason for our five star rating. Couldn’t do enough to make our stay as enjoyable as possible even arranging a meeting with an old acquaintance from 35 years ago with whom we had lost contact. Location close to all amenities including bars restaurants, train and a five minute walk to lake and lots of fun with all their friends and other guests. We came away feeling as if we had indeed experienced la dolce vita - true Italian way of life.

Fantastic accommodation and wonderful hosts.

The apartment was spacious, clean and close to everything. Gianni and Nena made us feel very welcome and we even had a party in the cellar on our last night. We highly recommend this apartment and will hopefully be back soon.

Un accueil très chaleureux : les propriétaires sont souriants, sympathiques, serviables et attentionnés. Ils sont de bon conseil pour les visites et les restaurants des environs. La maison et les appartements sont magnifiques avec beaucoup de cachet. La cour et la pièce commune rendent l'ambiance très conviviale. Ne ratez pas un moment magique : la visite commentée par le propriétaire de l'atelier de son grand-père au rez-de-chaussée de la maison. La région est superbe et le village très agréable. Il y a toutes sortes de commerces, des restaurants, un grand parc, une petite plage... Les gens sont très sympathiques. Je recommande chaudement cette location ! Merci aux propriétaires Giovanni et Nena pour ce séjour.
