I think this hotel is not as good as reviewed on the web. Location is very good, but I found everything in the room are kinda old, the walls in the room are not clean. I know a better hotel which cost only half price in Mandalay.

Excellent stay!

Very good place to stay and value for your money. Staff was excellent and attentive. Facilitated each request and assisted with our onward travel. Breakfast was outstanding and each day our room was cleaned. We ended up cancelling reservations for another hotel and staying an extra night. I will stay here again if ever back in Mandalay.

Good budget hotel

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Location was good but had to get a taxi or tuk tuk to reach most of the attractions. Bedroom very comfortable, staff very friendly. Breakfast was ok, although they had the equipment to keep the food warm, they would leave the lids opened so food would get cold. I provided feedback to the staff about this and the next day same thing, suggestion went unnoticed. Cold eggs, etc

Well worth the stay you will not be disappointed.

Excellent value for money hotel. Cleanliness of the room was above standard for the price and location. Everyone is polite, door men, receptionists, restauranteers, even the cleaners walking around. Quiet rooms and great privacy.

Excellent value.

This hotel is clean and comfortable. The staff are wonderful. Location is really good, easy to get to shopping etc. Really good value for money. Breakfast was mostly Asian choices.

Can't say enough good things about this hotel

I stayed here for three nights. From the moment I arrive till I leave, every single staff has been friendly, helpful, caring and professional. The room is very clean, one of the cleanest I have seen in my two weeks here in Myanmar, bed is comfortable and clean, good aircon, good hot water for shower. Breakfast is very good, a decent selection and changes daily. A big thank you to the team at Tiger One Hotel for making my stayed so enjoyable. :)

Lovely helpful staff

The room was perfectly fine, but what really made the hotel stand out was the excellent service from the helpful and friendly staff. Our overnight bus arrived in Mandalay at 4am (!!) and the hotel kindly allowed us to check in at this time, which was a great help. And they continued to be helpful in arranging transport, recommending restaurants, and even provided us with a take-away breakfast box on our last day when we had to check out at 5.30am. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Mandalay.

Small Room But Excellent Budget Hotel

My request for very early morning check-in was granted by the hotel management subjected to room availability. I am pleased by their generosity because the JJ express bus from Yangon arrived early before 06:00am. Check-in was efficient and fast. Taxi from bus station to the hotel cost around 7K kyat. However my superior room is rather small in size but sufficiently compensated by the attractive room rate offered at Expedia. We need to be fair with our review!! Do not expect to pay budget room rate but expecting 4 or 5 star hotels. Bed and pillows are comfortable. Not too soft and not too hard. Bathroom is slightly tiny but very clean, probably not too comfortable for western travellers due to their size. The only issue that the hotel management seriously need to look into is hot shower. I think many of the past hotel guests’ reviews complained of lack of hot water. The same issue happened on my stay. Hot water is only good for a person. After that it will only flows out cold water. WiFi speed is rather slow and frequently cut off. Complimentary breakfast given is above average. There is always a type of rice, fried noodle, plenty of fruits, breads, chicken or pork dish, local cakes, fruit juice, coffee and tea. It is sufficient for a hearty breakfast before going sight seeing. For guest who want to proceed to Bagan, the hotel is the agent for OK Express minibus. The minibus arranged door to door pick up from hotels before proceeding to Bagan. The cost is 9K kyat.
