A Scam property
The owner had doulbe booked this property on Vrbo and another major booking platform (think BnB). No arrival details were provided to us before hand but we turned up to the address anyway and attempted to ring the host's contact number...no answer. We knocked on the door to find other guests already staying there who had booked it the other major booking platform and who had been in contact with the host (named John) all day.
This disastrous start to the trip left us frantically looking for hotels within the same budget last minute.
The host then tried to lie to us next morning (presumably after the other guests had checked out) saying that he had texted us the check-in details. AVOID
