This hotel was once one of the better options in the area, but it’s starting to feel a little dated. The service is still good, but the rooms and facilities could use some refreshing. Still a decent stay, but not as impressive as it used to be.

Lovely room, bathroom especially the shower was really nice! It was my son’s birthday and the staff couldn’t have been nicer… the decor and the whole vibe of the hotel was lovely, would definitely recommend… we love the northern quarter so the location was perfect for us. Have stayed here multiple times now and it's my number one place to say when visiting Manchester. A few minutes walk from Manchester Piccadilly, set in a quieter part of the city yet still close enough to the centre and transport links. The decor throughout the hotel sets a calming atmosphere, with no garish bright lights and colours. Very welcoming the moment you walk through the front door. Special mention to the restaurant as the quality and presentation of the meals are worthy of an instagram post.

Everything was fantastic! The location, the room, the cleanliness, the bathtub (to die for!) and one extra-special thing: where most hotels provide coffee or tea in the room, the Manchester Dakota provided hot chocolate, and I will always love them for that!!
