Stayed one night to visit the Abbey - which is truly stunning. The room was fine and the bed comfortable, the breakfast was french, but fine. My only criticism was that the bar and restaurant attached 'La Bergerie' closed at 2130. OK, so I accept in rural France the kitchen might close, but we couldn't even get a beer!
Great location close to Mont Saint Michelle, BAD room. The room was clean and updated but Tiny! No fan in bathroom, small window in main room with no screen & smokers down below. This room sucks. No fan or ventilation and a half a roll of toilet paper with no one around to get more. Feels like a very cheap dorm room. We got in late and didn't know there's a gate that needs a code to get in the town. Wouldn't recommend it.
Room is really nice and clean, feels luxurious. The only hotel in our Europe trip that provide individual bath gel, shampoo and body lotion. The rest only provide 1 multi purpose gel. Separate bathroom and toilet. I would personally prefer the toilet to be in the bathroom, especially since the bathroom is very spacious.
I stayed in this hotel on last weekend along with my wife and kiddo. I would strongly recommend this hotel for couple with 1 or 2 kids or 3 adults. The front desk was very cordial and helpful. This hotel is very close to Mont Saint Michel and also from the dropping point of Ouibus and Flexibus bus stop of Saint Michel (Max 7 mins). The rooms are large with very well equipped large bathroom and WC. Extremely clean and bathrooms have full toiletries like towels etc. They also have parking lots for folks who come by their own cars. They also have their own restaurant which is adjacent to this property and is very large with excellent decor and reasonably priced food. We tried french dishes for our lunch and dinner and I would rather say that they were well prepared. I had a very good stay and wish the same for others who are reading this. Good Luck !!!
The hotel has great localization and the price is ok as for MSM touristic area. However, the hotel doesn't give the code for getting inside car-restricted area, and we had problems since the code given to us while we phoned was not working. Additionally, the lady spoke very poor very little English which was very annoying while we actually stood with the car in front of the barrier, and couldn't drive through. The room itself is nothing special (quite dark), good for night or two for visiting MSM.
What a nightmare. I was never told in any of the reservations that you had to get a gate code in order to enter the part of town to just park at this hotel. Not only that, but in order to leave and come back, you need to buy a code everytime?! What kind of pirate crap is that?! Mont-Saint-Michel is totally a MUST-SEE, but if I were you I wouldn't even bother staying the night in this town. Every single restaurant menu is the same and it's like one dood owns the entire place. We ended up buying beer at the grocery store in the town 25 minutes away because there was no way we were spending 12 euro on a 1/2 pint of brew. Ultimate tourist trap. Bathrooms are nice though. 6/10 wouldn't recommend staying anywhere to be honest.
