We visited La Digue in Seychelles in January this year. We had a wonderful time. After landing on the island on a ferry from Mahe, we rented bicycles, were given a map and then cycled our way for four to five hours with irregular stops at different scenic beaches. The beaches were calm on one side of the island but the other side had warnings to discourage people from swimming. When cycling, we passed through a lot of greenery and saw mating turtles plus large plantations. With breakfast on the beach ( packed by our hotel in Mahe), no Internet, exciting cycling terrain and barely any vehicles on the road this was a memorable day with beautiful beaches to see. Munir D.

Though the hotel is ideally close to the Mont and good views from the rooms and had an average breakfast (not value for money), this hotel had a bar that closed at 10.00 (what a waste of time opening, go to the bar at the Mercure just down the road it closes after 11.00). It did have good parking. That's the best bits. NOW READ ON Firstly the hotel couldn't read the booking form booked online and provided a double bed not a twin bed, though I proved that's what I booked, they argued over it all the same. When finally moved to a twin room (without the balcony) the window was fully open and the room smelt very damp. Having closed the window and had a shower we found that the carpet around the shower in the lobby area of the room and around the beds was sodden in water. Went to complain to be told that their was no other room available. Not wanting to messed around again we decided to stay though we would complain to the online booking company. We also made comments to the morning staff who again were not interested. So the online company complained on our behalf with a reply basically what problem and lied as if nothing was wrong. Do not book this hotel unless you are desperate.

The room is great, big, modern, comfortable, and equipped with all necessary things, except a mini bar. The bath room is large and clean, but strangely has no Bath-tub. Prices are not very high, and the location is right in front of the stop for the shuttle bus that crosses the bridge to the castle. Their breakfast is great, but they have a very strange rule that they only serve dinner from 7 to 8.30, though when I went there at 8:10 starving after a long day trip, I was almost kicked out.

My husband, son, and I stayed here one night so we could visit Mont Saint Michel. The location was perfect! While there was a shuttle bus to Mont Saint Michel, we walked there and back. Check-in went smoothly and the person checking us in spoke excellent English and was able to answer any questions we had. Our room (which was a nice sized) was on street level and we needed to have the window open to cool the room off. As a result, we could hear people talking as they walked by but it wasn't too bad. One piece of advice, you need to call ahead to get the code to enter the area where the hotel is located (since it is so close to Mont Saint Michel). Our phones didn't work in France and we didn't realized that we needed to call ahead. Although, the person directing traffic did call for us and it only took a few extra minutes.

Sometimes hotels are not as close to something as they lead you to believe. That is not the case here! This is about as close as you can get . It is so easy to catch the shuttle to the Mont. And the best part is you are next to a dam that gives spectacular views of the Mont. We walked to it 3 times in the evening at different points which was really amazing. The room was clean and okay size wise. All the decor centered on pics of the Mont which was nice. The reason I am giving it 4/5 is because there was a lot of noise and also it was pretty warm in the room. But totally worth it to have such great views and access to the Mont.

Me and my husband loved this hotel. The location is the best, a free bus stop next to the hotel to take to Mont Saint-Michel or you can go there walking for around 30 min. Our room was very good, very comfortable, clean and with a good bed and bathroom.

Il parcheggio è proprio davanti all’hotel. Sonno tranquillo.
