Location is incredible - about a 5 min walk from the village, so getting up the gondola to canyon lodge is fast and easy, not to mention excellent access to restaurants and everything else the village has to offer.
That said, during our stay one of the two restrooms in the unit was leaking water pretty much the entire time, soaking the floor and making the restroom difficult to impossible to use.
Communication with the company that manages the property was cumbersome and frustrating. The company forces you to download an app to retrieve your check in/check out instructions and other important information, which is fine but not ideal considering this booking was made on VRBO and it would be preferable to stick to one app. Not to mention that it wasn’t very clear in the email communications that the app is REQUIRED to retrieve your check in instructions. Also the app allows you to view messages sent to you from the company but does NOT allow you to send messages to them, so I was regularly sending messages about the leak through email or calling on the phone anyway.
Finally, since we arrived around 11pm, the rental office had closed so we had to pick up our parking passes and the key code to the door from a drop box. Since we had to download an app anyway, it would have been preferable if the key code was in the app and the parking passes were in the unit.
All in all it was a decent stay, but see above as to why we were left unimpressed.
