Budget friendly one bedroom and one bathroom condominium located walking distance to the Canyon Lodge ski area in Mammoth Lakes. Sleeps up to 4. The bedroom has a king size bed, dresser storage and a TV. The living area has a comfortable couch and love seat, a wood burning fireplace and a TV. There is queen fold out couch in the living room that is great extra sleeping for children. Not recommended for adults. There is a full kitchen and dining area with seating for 4 people. The unit is all one level (780 sq ft) and you enter from an interior hallway in the Chamonix A building. There is one outdoor parking space available. Chamonix recreation room has a large screen TV, reading area, ping pong, and foosball. They also have a sauna, hydro spas, seasonal/summer swimming pool & summer BBQ area.  Coin-operated laundry facilities located in the common area near the office. TOML-CPAN-15270

Convenient location, a place to rest your head

Location: this unit is an easy walk to Canyon or Chair 7. There are 2 jacuzzis in close proximity for post ski relaxing.Surface amenities: Reasonably nice furniture, dinnerware, kitchen countertop appliancesBasic unit: We don't think this unit has been updated in 40 to 50 years. A couple of drawers were in danger of completely falling apart, so we took out the silverware we needed and left it out the whole time. Flooring is very old, uneven and dirty - cleaned before we arrived but just very old with many years of hard use. This is a place to put your head and walk to the lifts. It worked for our needs, but can't really advocate a stay here.

Great location, alright condo

You can’t beat the location with this place. Walking distance to canyon lodge. The condo is very outdated and needs some maintenance done to it. Many of the cabinets were falling apart, the chairs are super unstable, it’s just outdated. I’d still recommend staying here just due to the location.

Perfect location for skiing

Overall property was dated but very comfortable bed, couch was great for lounging, kitchen was eficient but spa e on extras so bring your own spices and cooking oil. Plenty of cookware and serviceware. Lived being so close to lifts, walk to bus 100 ft, Alpenhof Restaurant a bit more

Great location near Canyon Lodge

The location is great, staff is helpful. However, the amenities in the condo is fairly old, the king bed is ok, the sofa bed is terrible, the door is not easy to close (had to slam it hard). Overall value is below average.
