The Hotel was nice with all necessary comfort but it is not a five star Hotel as you would expect it in other countries. However, as I heard from other travelers, most Hotels in Malta don't live up to the star Rating, so all in all I have very few complaints and I am happy with this Hotel during my first trip to Malta and it was a good value Hotel Overall.
This was not a 5 star experience. The room had dust and dirt on the floor the entire week. The bath/shower had moldy grout. The pool side bar was closed the entire week; the staff claimed it was because of poor weather the first day. However, even with all the pool area full of people they never opened that bar. To get anything drink you had to get dressed and go inside to the hotel bar. The tennis courts were unplayable. The surface was chipped, the nets were not secured properly, and there were no wind screens despite the fact that the courts were placed in the windiest spot in the resort! The Bistro had good food. However, the buffet restaurant's food was not very good. The buffet breakfast was very 3 star in nature. When I compare this resort to others that I have visited, it ranks in with the 3 star resorts.
Great place to stay in Malta short taxi rides to everywhere. Staff was very helpful in every way. Rooms where well kept and clean. Buffet breakfast was outstanding.
This is a pretty standard chain hotel with nice amenities. The pools are great for a quick dip, though I recommend walking down to the nearby beach for your extended time in the sun, the business center is affordable for quick internet access, and the concierge service is knowledge and quick to serve. The great thing about this hotel is that it is just enough off of the beaten path that it does not have much carry-over of noise from nearby roads or the local bar scene. Some of the best bars on the island are just a 5 minute walk away, but you would never know it while you are sleeping with your door open listening to the ocean at night. Overall, this a good place to stay. Check it out.
