So we stayed here for 2 nights as part of our trip to Malta in December 2017. The check in process was simple and the room was ready within good time, the room itself was big enough and the facilities within the room were nice. The hotel reception was friendly and helpful and were fully willing to assist in any way they could with no fuss. We didn't opt for the breakfast so I cannot comment on that but there are many places to eat nearby within 5/10 mins walk. There is bus stop right outside the hotel where you can get buses to most places (you may have to swap), bus drivers are nice and helpful and you will find a lot of them are from the UK! I would recommend this to anyone who wants to stay for a short break it indeed was value for money!
The staff at this hotel are all lovely. Good check in and check out. I liked being able to use the facilities of the adjoining sister hotel, the Corinthia St George where the outdoor pools and outside area is better and the Spa was ok but the indoor pool is a bit small for the size of the hotel. Lots of choice of food outlets between the two hotels. The Italian restaurant Da Marina was reasonably priced and the food was good. Henry J Beans American Diner wasn't great, in fact I think I had the worst Cheeseburger I've ever had. The hotel could do with a makeover especially the room which was a bit tired and dated decor and furnishings, but was comfortable enough. I had booked a BA holiday for 3 nights and for what I paid including flights it was good value for money.
We stayed for two nights as an early January break. Staff were really helpful, rooms were well equipped and a really decent size. We had booked a superior sea view which came with a balcony we hadn't expected - lovely surprise. Breakfast both days was delicious with plenty of choice. Great location and outstanding value - would certainly stay again
Nice Hotel located on limits of St Julian with beauty full view on the bay. Rooms are quite big with well equipped bathroom and really clean. Each have nice balcony giving you relaxing biew to the bay or the sea. Only some rooms with direct view to the bay beach are a bit noisy due to street traffic and night party orgasied on the beach. I got once one of it but hotel accept to change from the next night so my stay in Malta remained perfect. Hotel personnel at reception is simply perfect, professional and really try to do theirs best when you ask for some information or service. Big point is that here free of charge smile is really free of charge what is also appreciated. Concerning the food, huge breakfast buffet will make anyone happy and even if you request for some specific preparation just ask the chief and you'll get it. I've already made four long stays here and it happens only two times that personnel forgot to ask if can clean my table during taking the breakfast. (So nearly 5 stars breakfast service) For the evening do not hesitate to switch between different hotel restaurants. Some of them have very nice artist playing songs when you are getting relax. From time to time do not hesitate to got some walk, you will find hundreds of restaurants 20 min by walk. Two outdoor swimming pools are very clean and it's also possible to jump to the sea if you like. Maybe grey zone will be that slightly old style decoration will need to be changed because it's removing some whaw effect. To resume very nice hotel I will always came backwith big pleasure.
Absolutely lovely hotel. Very spacious and clean rooms and the hotel staff were really friendly. The hotel is modern and has spa facilities as well as outside pool. We stayed in a 3 bedroom which came with a balcony and amazing view. We could see the city on the other side. Great transport links too. Highly recommend.
This hotel is in a prime location of St Julian’s. The hotel staff are friendly and accommodating. The hotel has many facilities, some of which are available in the sister hotel down the street. The cafe serves great cakes and alcohol, all of which are reasonably priced. The deluxe room was a very nice size with prefect views of the harbour. The room was clean. The toiletries are quality and the mini bar was fully stocked. The room service food and mini bar was reasonably priced. The hotel accommodated me very well with regards to providing me a cake for my partners birthday. The staff couldn’t do enough to help. This hotel is very clean, well presented, nice in a lovely location, the staff are very friendly and accommodating. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back.
Everything was great at the Marina Hotel. From the breakfast to the kindness and exceptional customer services from everyone at the reception, restaurants and room service staff. The food was delicious and i particularly recommend Da Marina and Buddhamann, where I had dinner. Both provided excellent service. Da Marina has more of a relaxed feel to it, but if you want something a bit more luxurious go for the Buddhamann. Everything was clean and was very cosy, they even went as far as surprising me with a cake for my birthday which was great to get back to after a long day of exploring. Definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying at St Julian'S ,Malta.
Very nice hotel, close to beach, good breakfast, very nice staff, bus station in front of the hotel, close to other restaurants, shops etc. The rooms have a view to the bay and the sea, they are spacious and were cleaned every day. Good wifi reception in the roomas well as in the whole hotel.
As for my previous experiences, everything was excellent: check in and out, bed, see view, breakfast, staff,... And as I got a loyalty discount I got very good value for money. Also the location is fine, near Paceville without noises of this quater.
We wanted to explore Malta and have a good hotel with sea view.. Valetta only offers boutique hotels which may be nice but without view. So, after some comparing with other options, we booked Corinthia.Beach Resort. It's not a new hotel, but well managed - staff are very friendly and efficient, it is clean and generally proper. One can walk over to the neighboring hotel which features a park with pools and several restaurants. And yes, we could see the sea from our room - there is a bay (St George's bay). However .. The bay is not big and surrounded by rather ugly buildings and there is not much green (Malta is generally a dry place with no natural rivers or lakes). There is a small beach but it is next to the entertainment district and a far cry from really nice bay beaches, even in Malta itself. Going to Valetta (or, in fact, to most sights) can be done by bus but it takes really long (40-45 min to Valetta depending on traffic) and they run only every half hour. There is also the hop-on/hop-off bus but that's also a rather slow means of transportation.
