Basic hotel but very clean, fresh towels every day. We only paid for a basic room but were given one at the front with a gorgeous sea view! The €10 euro for air con was only a deposit so was refunded on leaving! Air con was also used to heat the room. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The location of the hotel was ideal for buses to Airport,Valletta, Mdina, Gozo ferry. Also very near the shops and the Valletta ferry. Breaķfast was typical continental breakfast, buffet style so help yourself to whatever you want! We would definately return to this hotel. Also the restaurant under the hotel was very good but not part of the hotel.

We went to stay in this hotel and were so put off by, well, everything, that we actually went and found a different hotel to stay in on the day, despite the fact that it was 2 non refundable rooms. Seen nicer jail cells. No customer service whatsoever - when first checking in just got told about all of the extra charges, like €10 just to have the AC on, and when we told them we wouldn’t be returning, they didn’t even ask why - can only assume this is a standard reaction to seeing the rooms

We enjoyed our stay here, the hotel is well placed for bus stops in either direction. No balcony but we knew that before we arrived, however the room was big, cleaned daily, with fresh towels every day. The staff were pleasant and helpful.

The room was tidy, clean. There were hot water and clean towels. It was a bit chilly, no heating (the AC didn´t have remote control). Most of the rooms has no view at all. Breakfast was plain- bread, cheese and sausage, ham and cereals, coffee was a bit too light. No Wifi. Our flight left 4 in the morning, it sounded like out packing disturbed the neighbors.

Rooms very basic, elevator unreliable, staff not very responsive/helpful, all in all not anything like a 3 * hotel. The only thing going for it was its location. Smell from the so called eatery offensive and half-board selection very limited. Unless you,ve no other option, avoid this place

After seeing our hotel room previously booked and being unable to stay there, we went into Roma and asked if there was any availability. Maria was fabulous and couldn't help us enough. Totally saved our holiday. Lovely hotel.

We arrived at the Roma at 01.30 and were greeted by a friendly and efficient receptionist. The room was clean although could have been warmer as it was February. Extra bedding however in the cupboard. Hot water in the morning and a basic breakfast of cereal and bread with a toaster. Breakfast staff were not as friendly though as the night time receptionist. We had a back room with a view of a wall but paid minimum price as we only stayed an route to our final destination. Views from front were of the sea and road through Sliema.

Seeing the price i didn't expected too much from the hotel and it was fairly the situation. the room we got was with 2 separate beds and I did ordered with 1 single double bed. so the stay wasn't comfortable. Also the time of the day when there's hot water is after 7 PM Internet only in reception, otherwise paid

We fly by Ryanair as we find they are the cheapest and so far ,the best.I always book the basic price and never book a seat , we do not mind where they seat us.Prior to the last flight we were always seated together, but on the flight to Almeria, I was placed in seat 6 E, and my wife was seated in 16E ,OK.As we were being seated,a lady sat into 6F beside me, and we got chatting, only to find that her husband was sitting in 16 F, beside my wife.As a result we changed places. Both couples ,were convinced that Ryanair had deliberately divided us up because we did not book and pay for our SELECTED seat.Or ,is Michael, trying his hand at MATCHMAKING.We have booked Ryanair again for Jan 2018,to escape the cold, and spare the fuel, and are staying at the Roma Hotel for the third year in a row.A very basic hotel ,break fast, very nice, juice ,cereal, cheese,s cold meats, various breads, tea coffee ,all you can eat.The staff very helpfull and friendly and make you feel at home, bed could be more firm . Beautiful view from the balcony over the sea and the ships.Very central , with Buses out side the door to anywhere on the island, cafes and a Prom to walk for miles. We love Malta, the Art, the Churches, the History, everything ,see you there. P Lynch

We di not expect too much and didn't get it! Tea and coffee facilities were some cups and saucers......no tea no coffee! Colour TV but no remote............remote had to be paid for at reception. Lift was definitely dodgy!
