Great staff on the reception desk. Jan especially was so kind, helpful and very informative even before we arrived at the hotel. When we arrived at the hotel Jan was on the desk to welcome us. She's the kind of person you feel you have know all your life. Our room was basic and comfortable. We had clean towels every day. The shower in the room didnt look very nice but the water was hot and powerful enough. The hotel itself is everything you can expect of a budget hotel with the added bonus of fantastic staff. Thank you to everyone we came into contact who made our stay so good. Another special thank you to the person on the desk who checked us out. Steph&Carlos

located in the heart of bugiba Malta 5 min walk to main square down the road ,it`s a basic hotel but clean rooms . it is easy reach by public transport ,from the airport or if you would like to visit sliema , Valletta and the sister island gozo

I booked for New Year's Lunch for 6 adult 1 child and 2 children under 5 years free. When we arrived for lunch we found a table for 7 and no highchair was available. Then they managed to squash us with another 2 chairs for the children(one 3 years and the other 2 years). After we finished lunch I asked for the bill and found that I had been over charged. Asked the waiter about the bill and apart that there was a mistake in the bill I was also charged for the two under aged children. I had to pay Euros 13.00 more and no receipt was given.

i booked this hotel through chevron holidays in uk i have used them before but never have i had an hotel as poor as this one i changed rooms the first had none work eletric socket in room the second was ok but the shower was just a hand held shower like something out of the 80s you could hang it on the wall but not good my room was cleaned every day which was a good thing now for the food well breakfast same every morning scrambled egg beans and some sort of sausage but b the time you sat to eat it it was getting cold wasted more breakfast than ate the same with evening meal fish or meat not mucg choice patato wedges which looked cooked from the day before not many fresh vegetables and dessert was same every night fruit jelly or cake of bread pudding which was dry then after 2 nights had custard meant to be hot but was cold middles of the week we couldnt choose food but was told what is was had to decide so 2 evening i went out to eat good food i would recomend this hotel to stay in i pain a lot of money for what i thought was going to be a good 3 star but only got a sad 2 star also was said on web site interent to pay for and use but that wasmt true internet was none existant i will never go back there again

I stayed at this hotel from 9th nov to 23rd nov 2017.I have asked the travel agency to stop selling holidays at the Primera Hotel,at keast to single travellers.My photographs hopfully convince you.The hot breakfast is cold.Beans,sausages,scrambled egg etc.COLD.The photographs of my room show the view from my window.Room 216.Virtually no natural light.The bar was closed.Never open.The loo was almost impossible to flush.The bedspread had urine stains.I could have chosen to contact the travel agency and asked to be moved but really this hotel should have no stars rather than 3.The receptionists were fine but all in all a lousy experience.There was a section of the base of the wardrobe missing.Inside was food waste and tissues.My photos hopefully give you an indication if the standard of hygene and maintainance.My room was in the central core of the building above the kichen and stank of stale food.I made the mistake of leaving the window of my stuffy airless dark box open one day.Please don't stay here.The holiday cost almost 500 pounds.If i didn't complain here and to the travel agency more people will stay in room 216.Please don't.Thank you.I am not seeking compensation.I merely wish you to have a nicer holiday than me.

My family and my aunts family stayed here for 3 days in June this year. We arrived late, upon checking in the receptionist noticed that they had made a mistake and not noticed that one family was 3 persons and required an extra bed (Already paid for). The receptionist was kind enough offer a extra room until the morning. The next morning during breakfast my aunt (Who had stayed in the extra room) was told she needed to pay extra for the breakfast (Was included and already paid for). After a short argument we finally got a hold of the man in charge and she was able to finish her breakfast. After the breakfast we had a chat with the man in charge, who refused to acknowledge that they had made any mistake, even doh the cheackin page clearly said "3 people, one extra bed" The last day the same thing happens again... During breakfast the staff said my aunt had to pay extra for the breakfast again... And they where very persistent about it and we told them that we could talk about after breakfast, but i think they keep annoying us about 4 times during breakfast. The only thing that stops me from giving a 1 star instead of 2 was the very kind person who set us up with an extra room the first night.

My booking was for an economy room, this means a room on the inside with hardly any daylight and no direct sunlight, so forget tanning. I had to pay an extra 10 Euros per day to upgrade to a room with a balcony on the outside. On the whole the room was good but you had to pay extra for a safe or even the TV remote. The main issue was the poor water pressure in the shower. It was difficult to get showered as the hot water overpowered the cold so you had to wash in a dribble of a shower. Other than that the hotel was generally good, the staff were excellent. But if I stayed again I wouldn't bother with breakfast as you can get cheaper and better down the road.

Hotel is very dated...wouldn’t class as a 3*. But you get what you paid for.. (cheap) The staff are very friendly. The location of the hotel is great!! Close to around 6 or more restaurant. So it can be very noisy at night. Bus stop is a 1 min walk away.. to travel to other parts of the island ie Valletta. Would definitely stay here again due to its location, but that’s it!!

it is nice hotel, near the sea, next to the center of town, it has great location, rooms are nice and clean. stuff in hotel are very helpful and they do everything for guest to have great time there. you will enjoy it

The hotel was conviently situated for the harbour ,it's states a 3minute walk,that's all it was.The hotel staff were always very friendly and helpful,the rooms were always clean and plenty of fresh towels.We were half board the food was not what we expected,never had chips for breakfast before must be something new ,evening meal if you were not in early the the best food was gone,having said that some of the guests were very greedy.Would go back to the hotel but on room only,unable to give a good report about the food,a cup of tea after the evening meal would have been nice but not avalable
