First night 20kvm in stead of 33kvm next morning i spoke to reseption and two hours later we were moved to an apartment with bedroom livingroom kitchen etc and terasse.alle people working at the hotel were serviceminded. We can rekomend this hotel and we will for sure come back next summer. Svein

First of all this is not a 4 star hotel. I would have over looked many points if it had been clean and welcoming. But sadly the staff were the reason I felt compelled to write a review. First of all the room was not ready when I arrived. I was told check in was 2pm and to come back. I returned at 2:30pm to be told the room was still not ready with no apology or offer of a drink as a nice gesture. I had paid extra for a sea view and am so glad I did as this is the only plus point. The room was dirty. I cleaned the toilet myself, washed the black hairs stuck to the shower walls and bath and picked them from the bed. The breakfast wasn't bad. Nice choice of cheese, cake, fruit, tomatoes. But the tables and utensils were dirty. I was joining a wedding party staying near by so it was convenient and for that reason I needed to extend one more night. Id used and saw that a sea view rooms was available. However where possible I like to promote local economy and asked the hotel direct about keeping the room for one more night. I was just barked at like a parrot 'come back tomorrow' I phrased my question in various ways to see if their was a lack of understanding but again I just got the parrot reply and a dismissive angry flash from the female receptionists eyes as she was hurrying off for the weekend. That was enough for me to check out and move to Gozo, in search of kinder warmer people. Rachel who is on the excursion desk by the door is only interested in answering questions that earn her commission. I appreciate she is there to sell excursions, but when you are located in a hotel of paying guests some consideration needs to be given. The only pleasant staff were the African service boys that were smiley and pleasant along with an Eastern European waiter in the restaurant. All of which I heard being spoken too like dogs from the Maltese staff. If beach front location on the outskirts of St julians & Sliema is not your priority, do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere. As this place is not cheap for the standards.

Is it a four star hotel - no, but Malta is rather generous wth ratings. It is clean, tidy and the staff are helpful. The pool, whilst I heated is a godsend in the summer and plenty warm enough for a dip, it is also a reasonable length to go swimming and never overly busy. The rooms are furnished with oak, which whilst being a bit outdated are perfectly comfortable and clean. The beds are comfortable and the rooms spacious. We paid extra to upgrade to a full seaview and this was well worth the €10 pp per night. The view overlooking the bay is lovely. Breakfast has a large variety of options and their is also a bar by the pool, a cafe bar in reception and "pub" lounge downstairs. Free, fast Wifi is available in all these areas The location on the waterfront is ideal for travelling into Valletta, walking round to St Julian's or getting the bus further afield. Would I stay again? Yes. If you want a five star then increase your budget but if you are looking for a reasonably priced comfortable hotel with a good location, brilliant access to the waterfront and pool facilities this is it.

The typical three stars hotel. The location is good and near the sea. The room with sea view is fantastic. But the restaurant is located at underground which gives a minus. The food is so so and no variation at all.

Sea front location is nice. Hotel is old and worn. Breakfast and wifi is OK. Dinner buffe also OK but some dishes were cold. Too high price for the standard provided. Well in advance, on a Sunday, I ordered a personal taxi to the airport for 18 euro. Did not feel like taking the public bus. A minivan shows up, from a travel agency. I was told "oh great you get a whole bus to yourself!" Then to my surprise/shock we had to make 2 stops to pick up more people from other hotels. Not what I paid for. Disappointed.

I stayed in the hotel while working in Malta. The best aspect is the location on the sea front (I had a sea view room). The room, including the bathroom, was a good size, clean and with aircon that worked well. The pool area is a nice convenience. The communal areas such as the pub, business centre (PCs), restaurant, and lobby are very dated and shabby in places.

Hotel is old fashioned outdated, room with "partial" sea view has no sea view but a lot of neighbours across the street. AC didn't work, just make noise, room was very humid, very old and smelly. Terrible... I do not understand how it is a four star hotel? There were strong smell of mildew everywhere in the hotel, it's a four stars of the 70s! I booked a triple room but, was given a twin room with an extra bed, in a very, very small room (like 10m2). At one morning at 8 a.m. we was sleeping and someone was knocking in ours doors, we did not answer, so she unlocked the door and came inside - it was chambermaid!! no "sorry" at all! Very noisy place all the night. Only good things were location, breakfast and pool on the roof. Balconies were very small and you could only stand there, not enough space to sit. It looks better in their pictures than in reality. And we didn't get our welcome drink...

I was happy to find a 4-star hotel at an excellent location in Malta for a very good price but I was disappointed. I should have read the Tripadvisor reviews instead of trusting the official review. This hotel is very far from the 4-star quality. The building cries for a renovation (don't be fooled by the pictures published by the hotel), the wifi is unstable and the AC in the fitness room does not work. However, the pool on top of the building is pretty cool, and we could always find empty sunbeds which cannot be said of the beaches by the sea. The beds were also comfortable and the room had an adjustable AC (the 2 most important things). We paid for breakfast and it was all right. Overall, if you do not expect too much, and look at this hotel as a 3-star hotel with a cool top pool, you might not be disappointed. After all, the really cool hotels cost much more.

No parking around the hotel.need revamb urgent.smelling bad everywhere.rooms need revamb and have bad smell of mould.expensive for the money you pay.sure not 4 star hotel.not recomended at all especially for families

Staff within this hotels are Diamonds in the rough Evelyn in the Kitchen an absolute credit to Malta never mind this hotel. Karl in the bar also a very nice and genuine fellow. Hotel is so dated Sheets were occasionally Marked. Hotel Pool covered in flies Girlfriend had to jump out as body was covered in them. To summarise staff excellent Hotel Naff.
