We like all inclusive's as you know more or less how much you're spending. I have to budget for holidays so it helps. Liked the area on the map when I booked and it was so close to the beach, 300 meters down the road. Around the hotel are shops and cafes ok for a gander at the shops. Found the price of food high here, even in supermarkets and some restaurants are crazy prices. We were a bit smug the breakfasts here were so good. We booked a twin with a balcony, also had tv, desk and fast shower, small but clean. Even though it was September it was boiling a couple of days, priceless. Didn't think we would afford a holiday this year, so we enjoyed our time here that extra bit more. Would stay here again, unbeatable value when I started to add it all up.

I really liked my stay in Whala Beach hotel. I loved the reconstration what they did. Room was all white and clean beautiful. I chosed a room with the sea view, and I was 100% happy with the room and a view what we got. Food was nice and the personal too. In the cafeteria they had big windows with a sea view what was amazing. They have a pool on the roof top with a small bar. And again with a beautiful view were u could see the whole beach. I would 100% reccomend this Hotel and I would come back again

Almost a perfect stay for us. We booked it right at the airport as our original hotel had double booked and we had nowhere to go. The hotel was near the airport and as a late reservation, we didn't get the key to our room till 4pm but the room was refurbished to a high standard and very comfortable. We got to know most of the staff and all were very nice to us. Great location for the beach and better than original hotel we'd booked, as beach is just across the road. Loads of bars and places to eat close to the hotel so had a great 11 nights here.

The hotel looks absolutely nothing like the photos on their website especially the rooms which are very dirty and smelly. All the bed sheets and towels are visibly dirty, and the stench that comes from the drains in the bathroom is vile. The balconies are practically shared. Found a dirty plaster on the floor of our room and the sink didn't drain at all but apparently this filthy cramped room (which we couldn't even open the door properly for) was no reason to change rooms according to reception. They constantly put off our complaints and we're very rude about it all. The food was very poor and no drinks (even water!!!) are included in your dinner. Walls are paper thin and the lift kept breaking. The lift is shared with such a huge number of people it's ridiculous and closes on people with no safety stop. Heard loads of other people complaining at reception while we were there so it's clearly a constant problem. The manager is very rude and has no interest in helping you or solving the problems. Whole hotel seems very run down and poorly run

This year holidays seem to have been a bit more than usual, so you have to cut your cloth! I don't have buckets of spare cash but work hard and like my holidays in Spain. I found this on TripAdvisor and went for it weighing up all my must haves like - beach close by, just b and b like to do our own thing, and watch the cost. After an awful flight, terrified, couldn't have been happier to get to my hotel. It was boiling hot and the girl at reception got me a glass of water, got the room and regs sorted and I was on hols. Pleasant room, cleaned well, not too bad mattress, great big breakfast buffet, in heaven don't have to cook. Oh yes, the beach, fantastic for lazy holiday bobs, just across a road. Even I can do that. More modern than our hotel last year , liked it close to town for when you like a bit of a shop. Had a dead good time here, so might just be planning another 10 days.

Good - Sea view was beautiful - View from top of the hotel was amazing too - Good selection of food in the evening and at lunch - All inclusive was great with unlimited drinks and alcohol included - Room was simple and beds comfy - Really friendly bar staff - Very busy and lively area with buses to Palma every fifteen/twenty five minutes so very good for us Improvements - Rooms weren't properly cleaned in the daily maid service - Some furniture in the room was dirty or broken (cracked table) - Shower took ages to get to a reasonable temperature - Door to balcony kept getting stuck and was very fiddly to open and close - Heard everything from the street outside so was very noisy and it was hard to sleep - Curtains in room weren't wide enough to cover the balcony doors so light was let in which kept us awake - Reception staff weren't too friendly and couldn't really speak much English - Rooftop pool was ok but way too small for how many guests they have - The lifts were useless, two lifts for nine floors? had to wait a long time, very glad we were only on the third floor so we used the stairs mostly - The decoration of the hotel is very mismatch because it was once san diego hotel so in the 'lounge' its very white and clean with modern minimalist decor however on the stairs and hallways it's very dark with the use of brown marble and gold/wooden bannisters on the stair case Even though the hotel had so many faults we still had a really good week, we would definitely visit El Arenal again but maybe not this hotel because of it's many faults and improvements that need to be made.

DO NOT STAY HERE. The pictures on their website are nothing like the hotel. We asked where the swimming pool was and they said it isn't here anymore. Still showing on the website though. This hotel is the biggest dump I've ever stayed in. Unfortunately we are still here as everywhere in the area is full. The place is filthy and tired although the cleaning staff do their best. The food is awful and although we are All Inclusive we are eating out. Same food daily. Tasteless pasta, pizza and chicken. The location is great and the Staff are all very friendly. The place is a health hazard, broken decking all around the 2 tiny plunge pools and broken steps. There's a constant stream of people complaining about their rooms at reception but if you want to change they just quote you an extortionate amount.

OMG PLEASE BELIEVE ALL BAD REVIEWS what a absolute dump dirty stinking pit staff not very accommodating I had my 4 month old granddaughter with me and they gave us a room without kitchen accessories I had no where sterilise her bottles I asked the staff If we could move for this reason only and I was gold yes for a few of 210 euros extra 😡 every time I passed reception there were people complaining about the state of their rooms. We arrived at 10.30 am and we couldn't book in til 2pm it's ridiculous 1 lift for floors 2-6 so we ended up climbing stairs with the pram all the time this hotel is more like an 18-30 it's awful ruined my week anyway I couldn't wait to get home and never again will I travel to this country 😡 so my advice to anyone who's booked this hotel CHANGE It now

Stayed here half board for a week , had great room on floor 9 with fantastic views , food great lots of choice for breakfast, evening meal good themed Italian my favourite, pool on roof and bar but didn't use as the beach is super and only steps away , have booked already to go back may 2018 , super cheap great value .

Had a great holiday, staff & service good. Only down side was my water pressure. I was in room 512, fifth floor of nine. I was on all inclusive and I found there was something on each of the menus for tastes. I would definitely go again. ☀️
