Vanity Hotel Suite & SPA4.0 out of 5.0

...because if I say just how good this hotel is, everyone will want to go and they will run out of room! Seriously though, the hotel, grounds, food, room, staff, location is all perfect. We stayed a week in one of the Royal Suites and literally could not fault anything - which by my own admission is seriously a one-off! Mostly German guests, a few British, Spanish, Dutch and French to add in to the mix - which we prefer to all Brit! Cannot rate highly enough and we are going back next year for a totally relaxing week :)
We stayed at this place for only 4 days and we didn't want to leave. Very comfortable good size room, great service from the first moment on reception, nice meals any time. Short 5-10 minutes walk to the beautiful beach, where were sun-beds always available.
Just back from this lovely hotel. Booked via Thomson. Downside was the transfer time of 2 hours which was no fun. Via minibus but having left our home in Sheffield at 11.30am and arriving in hotel at 9pm it was quite s king hail! Most things have been said about this fab hotel. Don't book this though if you want anything other than a lovely quiet break and proper relaxation. There is no resort really in Cala Mesquida which made it perfect for us oldies but maybe not for younger folk. Hotel scored highly on cleanliness, food, drinks (great cocktails), staff and quality was high everywhere. The buffet offered some yummy choices. We enjoyed the low key entertainment and of course the lack of kids was great. We had 3 separate minor room related problems which were sorted by maintenance instantly. That's the sign of a well managed property! On my OHs birthday a free half bottle of fizz was a lovely touch 🍾This hotel isn't a cheap option and our holiday would have been fabulous if not for the weather - we had quite a lot of rain and cloud. Oh well, I guess that's why Majorca is so green and pretty.
This hotel is everything everyone says it is - a total haven to relax in. The food is fantastic, we actually enjoyed our lunch downstairs rather than having the three course upstairs, which I must say was wonderful but the John Silver ice-cream you get by the pool bar is worth the swop!! Rooms are huge, had a slight issue, but that was sorted between our mentioning to reception and our getting back after breakfast. Our only slight disappointment was the mode of attire in the evening. It asks for no shorts at dinner time, and unfortunately that wasn't adhered to - but with it being 4 stars rather than the 5 I think it really deserves I can understand. Nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff and although it is very, very, very quiet there are still lots of things on for those who are looking for a little to do, aerobics, walks, yoga, spinning, rifle shooting. Perfect holiday - thank you
Fabulous relaxing holiday. Lovely rooms, quiet pool and great food. Highly recommend tours with Marcel, visited Arta and the market. You can also get around on the local bus or taxi. Cala mesquida is a very quiet resort.
Visited the Vanity Suites in August and thoroughly enjoyed it. It is very quiet and peaceful so if your after a lively place this is not for you. We were looking for a relaxing holiday and this hotel gave us just that. The rooms were very comfortable, spacious and clean. We had an executive suite which overlooked the pool. It had the sun all afternoon. The food was good. A bit repetitive at times but no different to other all inclusive and there was always something we enjoyed, the roasts were very nice and the paella was delicious. They have a summer dinner night once a week which takes place on the terrace outside and the quinine at this was exceptional. Compliments to all the chefs for this. The staff were very courteous and helpful, from the reception staff to the cleaners, Nothing was too much trouble. The pool area was clean and well kept and due to the hotel policy of not reserving sun beds, which was upheld, we never had a problem getting a sunbed. The Balinese beds were a nice touch too. If anyone is looking for a relaxing holiday in a good hotel I would definitely recommend this hotel. Cannot fault it in any way. The only downside of the holiday was the long drive to and from the airport, but this is no fault of the hotel, and was a minor niggle in an otherwise great holiday. Would definitely go back to this hotel.
We were looking for a place to totally relax and chill out, that was close to the sea, had some yoga available or other fitness classes, a spa, all inclusive, adults only and this completely fitted the bill! We opted for a Royal room which had a huge terrace upstairs with a double bed, sun loungers, jacuzzi and sun loungers. I was up there most mornings watching the sun rise and late afternoon catching the last of the rays. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Ramone who took the yoga classes was a bonus as i thought it might just be "hotel" yoga, but he was an amazing teacher. Did some classes with Francesca too (stretchilates, TRX, Aqua fit etc), which were great too. Went on the one of the coastal walks with Marcel which we really enjoyed, finished with a stop off for some wine and Tiramisu. Also found some local walks which we did early in the morning (around 7am) before it got too hot, walked to Cala Torta and the Tower on top of the hill (Last bit is a bit of a scarmble) There is not much in Cala Mesquida which suited us well! Took a car one day and went to see Arta, Capedera and Alcudia. V easy to rent a car from reception. It must be one of the most peaceful (no music apart from Aqua fit to e heard) and relaxing places I've been too with delicious food and cocktails. After lunch it looks a bit like the scene from sleeping beauty as everyone is asleep around the pool or in the gardens.
OMG! This is a great place to relax and reconnect with your loved one. All the staff(with no exceptions) were friendly, thoughtful and worked so very hard Check in was easy, our luggage was taken to our room. Our room was spacious, quiet and kept clean by the lovely Laura. We were all inclusive, the food was always awesome with so much choice. The pool area was quiet, with plenty of beds for everyone (thankfully no towels going down early to keep a bed) This is a very quiet area, with great walks and views. I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a complete relax and chill time
Big thank you to the staff and the management of Vanity Hotel. We spent a week there in early August and couldn’t fault it. The hotel is beautiful, well run with excellent facilities, and the staff are wonderfully friendly and helpful. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone.
A beautifully maintained little oasis of peace and tranquility and lovingly manicured gardens adjacent to the soothing sound of the sea and spectacular walks. The food was fresh and varied and the staff and hospitality caring and upbeat. The beach was lovely and sandy with clear warm welcoming waters and well supervised by the vigilant Lifeguards. There were reasonably well stocked shops and a pharmacy and a Doctors clinic within walking distance but wasn't teaming with milling multitudes. I came away refreshed and invigorated not only because of the external trimmings and trappings which were rather lovely but by the friendships I made and the positive vibes of a whole bunch of staff members with the kind and charismatic Manager/Director Mr. Vicente Requena at the helm. Thank you also to Marcel - the Aloe Vera Gel hit the spot, Ramone-your yoga was uplifting, Lisa of the smiley face at reception and Angie and Alessandro and Baba too, the girls in the spa with the healing touch Maria P and Malen, Francesca -the dancehall moves rock! And all the staff in the restaurants Miguel, Jordi, Arturo- from Lithuania-I've got a feeling I'm getting this name wrong - and all the ladies too and of course the bright and dynamic Chef Pablo. And not forgetting Yolanda and Amalia from Housekeeping for humouring my queries 😅 I thought people were being too effusive in their reviews but now I KNOW WHY!
