We were booked into TRH at last minute, due to the Monarch problem! I looked up reviews and was dreading it. There were 6 of us holidaying together ages ranging from 17 to 73 yrs old. When we arrived reception staff were very helpful and friendly Staff were lovely throughout our stay.. Rooms were big and basic, but very clean, we had two rooms, all crockery and cutlery we needed, and clean towels and bedding. Cant comment on food as we were self catering. Plenty of shops and places close by to eat. The balconies overlooked pool area. All lit up at night and music throughout the day. The hotel is at the top of a hill but we didn't find that a problem, great to be close to beaches and nightlife It wasn't too noisy for us, having teenagers in our group. it was fine. We are booking to go back next year.

Hotel apartment with a bedroom, equipped kitchen, an intimate balcony, pleasant, with two chairs and a table, well-insulated rooms, close to the center and the sea, very good price, worth every penny if you want to have fun it's the place, thank you Magaluf.
We stayed on the 13-16th October in room 603 on the first floor over looking the pool area. The reception area is contemporary and clean. Check in was easy and the staff were courteous and polite. There is a lift to all floors. The rooms are basic but clean. The kitchen was fully stocked and we received a nice can of pepsi max (nice touch). The rooms are worn but they are clean. You get soap and towels and lots of toilet roll. There is a hairdryer in the bathroom. The beds were made up on arrival. It is noisy, but it is a very central hotel so 2 min to the strip (and the beach). The noise from the pool quietens down by about 11pm and the noise from the bars facing the hotel finish about 2pm. It is a great base and for the price how anyone can complain I have no idea. The beach is just down some steps and is lovely and you can hire sunbeds for 4.50 and an umbrella for 4.50. There are pedalos and banana boats and boat trips and a climbing frame on the beach. There are eateries and bars all down the front, all were reasonably priced. In the evening for good food head to the beach front, for cheap drinks head to the strip. The reps aren't to bad and if you fancy a bar get a good deal off them and ooh and aah before going in (more free drinks). We oohed and aahed at the restaurants on the front and got free champagne.
I still here at the moment. My room was big..4 beds even though I'm here alone. The room was very clean when I arrived with lots of towels. There is a microwave, toaster and plenty of kitchen equipment. The shower is very powerful..one of the best I've used abroad...also is a good hairdryer here. Now here's a few gripes. I'm on day five and my room has yet to be cleaned. There are also only two power sockets in the whole apartment...a rubbish room view. Would I come back here?...No.
Stayed in TRH for three nights and it was exactly what we needed for the time we were there. Hotel is very well kept and the staff were more than pleasant. We had a one bedroom apartment and had everything we needed for our stay. Yes the rooms are dated but given the short amount of time we were in there it made no difference to us. There were plenty of sun beds going by the pool with music being played throughout the day. Location was great for us as it was right near the top of the strip and when you came out the hotel you could see mulligans bar. I would definitely say this hotel is more catered for younger people and groups of friends given it's location but as it was out of season it would be ok for families but not in main season. Also just across from the hotel there is a good little bar called Oasis Bar which we popped into on a couple of occasions. Can't say anything about the food as we didn't eat at the hotel but I would defo stay here again.
Basic hotel nice foyer pleasant staff pool good I know we r getting on a bit and thought most of the young uns had gone but we were wrong noise noise noise until 7 in the morning no sleep room given above front entrance so all congregate there at all hours of the morning apart from noise would go again
Just stayed at the TRH for a few days with friends. The hotel is located near the top of the strip, beach is close by. Decent size bedroom, lovely swimming pools with plenty of sun beds. I would certainly stay here again.
I only arrived this afternoon and was a bit sceptical with reference to other reviews. The hotel manager was lovely. My room was spotlessly clean, the pool is lovely, the location is awesome...No faults here.
Okay folks so heres the best review you will get for this hotel.... Head out on a joint hen and stag doo. This hotel is in the "party central" of magaluf so we thought yeah were going to have a good time here. After all lets all go to maga and have a laugh and get drunk, have a party and go home after the best hen and stag doo that money can buy but no..told to be quiet on check-in when we got to the floor because there is older people staying on the floor, then a warning from the hotel for "being loud" at 8.15pm (yes folks, still broad daylight outside and you cant have a laugh), then you get home to be threatened of being put out your hotel room after one night because people dont realise that other people have a life regardless of whether they do or not and the hotel would obviously rather cater to pensioners than people who have visited the island on many occasions and stayed in various hotels (including this one) and never had any problems before but hey such is life. Advice is dont visit this hotel unless your ID that youre showing them is a bus pass or pension book. I for one will never be back in this hotel.
After reading the reviews on here me (25) and my other half (24) were dreading arriving and staying here for 4 nights early October. When we arrived we found the staff very pleasant but got warned that they could not take responsibility for anything left in the rooms. After paying the Majorca tourist tax they allowed us to check in early and were pleasantly surprised by our room. Everything was clean and didn't smell. We did however find ants easily got in but managed to spray deodorant around which helped. Room got cleaned once but bins emptied most days. The only thing was as we were at the back of the hotel there was some noise of people coming back drunk in the early hours, but in magaluf you can't expect peace and quiet all the time and very hard beds. Also loud bin trucks every morning. Hotel is good location to beach/shops/strip except for being at the top of a ridiculously steep hill. Nice pool, although freezing. You get what you pay for but our experience was a positive one.
