Arrived mid week to fully booked hotel. Original room allocated overlooked the bars of the strip & small for 4 of us to share. Went back to reception & with the help of Ines she relocated us to s better bigger room with views of the beach & pool. All the team are very friendly & place has a great atmosphere & comfortable rooms Definitely will revisit thank you

We generally enjoyed our two weeks stay at the Wave House. Although, it is reputed that it is the place for younger people, there were a substantial number of guests, who like us were not in this category (including children and toddlers), so we felt part of the crowd all the time ;-) For some unclear reason, the hotel apply a discriminating policy: Pool beds, far away from the little pool and sea view, are assigned to regular guests (who already paid an expensive price for their stay). You have to pay extra to get one in the so-called VIP zones, occupying more that half of the area! If you want to get a bed closer to the pool, you have to pay from the amount of 45 €, for which you get four glasses of beer (will cost you 24 € to get it yourself from the bar!). The amount can go up to a couple of hundreds in case you you are after stronger drinks. Being drunk is, however, no problem because the pool is too small to swim and you will always be standing inside! Probably for the young and adventurers, the wave pool, downstairs, is an interesting attraction for surfing (costs 35 €). Breakfast variety is OK, although it is the same every morning. Dinner is, however, served in a different hotel in case you'r booking for dinner at the hotel. The best with the hotel is its location. It is located in the centre of every thing in Magaluf, and almost on the beach.

Excellent Hotel, location, staff, breakfast buffet selection, pool area and facilities. Our Hotel room was very clean, spacious and great view out to the sea. Had a 5 night stay in June 2017 and will definitely stay at the Sol Wave House again. Thanks for the hospitality from check in to check out. Mike & Gill

perfect location, lovely freindly staff who are so helpful, also the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in, the hotel is in a lively area but if you sit on your balcony on the evening it's so peaceful, you really have the best of both worlds, the only problem is now i have stayed there every other hotel seems awful

It was a nice six days holiday. It's my first time in Spain. The view was very nice. Hotel close to pretty everything... nice first experience. I would recommend it to friends. May plan to come again in the future.

I stayed here in May 2017, what can i say the rooms are amazing very clean and very comfortable. Staff were fantastic would recommend this hotel to anyone and what a great location I was surprised considering the location of the hotel how quiet it was. I loved the size of the rooms and the beds are just so comfy. The staff are very friendly and helpful and this of course is what you want when on holiday. Have already booked to go back next year

We booked an apartment for four adults and we encountered a room with two normal-sized beds and - in a second small room - a mini-sofa-bed which was only 140 large; for two adults definitvely too small by far! But sleeping was not possible anyway; we had bad luck to have been located directly in an apartment by the "Temple" where people is partying and singing loud all night, sleeping was impossible until 6 a.m. I am asking myself; why the hotel staff is not able to make the difference between young party people and families; they have definitvely other needs and cannot be placed into apartments next to each other! But this seems to be too much work! This Hotel is not worth the money - except if half of the money will be paid to the roommates which deserve it most. It is difficult to immagine what they have to see and clean up all the time (we had to be careful to not step on the vomit right in front of a door - not just once). The artificial wave is not spectacular. We will not be back.

We stopped here for 12 nights. This hotel is situated right central point on the beach. Rooms look straight out to the beach of Magaluf. VIP area for residents on top level with a infinity swimming pool.there was sun beds available upto about 10.00 in the morning so don't to be up so early. The lower area is for the public as well plenty of seating lovely bar with good range of drink. Hotel is well maintained and very clean and staff very friendly. Only down side is from early hours when youngsters leaving the stripe can be very noisy from 4 till 6 we found. We would definitely stop here again.

Best holiday ever with teenage kids! We went 25 July - 1 Aug 2017. My husband and I were really worried about a holiday in this area but we were doing it for our teenage son and his friend. But we were really pleasantly surprised and had an amazing time. This hotel is just awesome! It has the right balance of chill-out and party. Perfect if you’re like us and are getting on a bit but like a good atmosphere! The junior suites are huge, modern, clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is amazing, with everything you could ever want (even pick n mix sweets!?) so there were plenty of treats and the healthy stuff as well. The Bondi Beach Bar, which is part of the hotel served high quality food and cocktails and had a chilled Ibiza vibe. The food and drinks prices in the hotel were good too. Perfect cheap sangria! The location of the hotel is ideal, as it’s central to the whole resort and right on the beach but it’s not on the strip. You just need to make sure you ask for a room away from the noisy strip if you value your sleep! I had read that which side of the hotel you’re on makes a big difference and it was right! I had emailed the hotel and asked for a quiet room away from the strip before we went. They were great and gave us exactly that, on the beach side of the hotel at the opposite end from the craziness. We had some of the best nights sleep we’ve had in a long time in that room! They also put us near the end of the corridor, so we didn’t have loads of people coming past our rooms. It was actually good for younger kids too and there were quite a few there but there was a good balance. They have an adults only area too. We would love to go back next year with our son and we really didn’t want to leave. We would also have been happy going here just the two of us. Thank you, Sol Wave House for exceeding our expectations!

Experience started with rude front desk attendants in an extremely hot lobby. There is no air conditioning throughout the hotel and very minimum air in the room. Let me just list out they this was one of the worst lodging experiences and why if you are looking for an customer centric experience - avoid this hotel 1)You need to pay for your beach towels. 2) minimum service at the pool- long waits, no one to place towels, move chairs, open umbrellas 3) no room service 4) no workout facility- except for two spin bikes sitting on the pool deck 5)maid service poor, only one towel per day and sheets not changed daily , garbage not empty, kitchenette never cleaned 6)did I mention how rude the front desk staff was? At all hours day-evening 7)do not opt for meal plans as the food was horrible , we canceled this pkg after day one but the front desk staff would not cancel this until day 3 of our stay. They stated it was like the electric" even if you don't use it you still need to pay for it" 8)do not expect any courtesy bottle water- correct nothing The front desk staff stated " we do not offer water as part of our service " good thing there was a deli around the corner as we would hv died of thirst 9) did I mention the hotel is like a housing project dim, dark, no windows in the halls, tiny elevators where no more than 4 people can fit without beach bags. 10) do not expect any bathroom extra- no shampoo/conditioner / lotion. One positive - grt shower head. I'm sure I have more to share but exhausted from reliving this experience. Melia - I expected so much more ... so if you are young college person looking for a place to play your head having no expectations for service I'm sure this dump will meet your requirements. If you are use to fine lodging do not consider this venue!
