I stayed here in September with my 2.5 year old daughter. The reception staff were very friendly on arrival and throughout the stay. Theme park was great all though we could not do much as she was to little. The overhead cables looked amazing. The week we stopped is was a stars wars convention which added character. The food was not to my taste but others loved it. The bar staff at the pool could do with learning from the reception staff about customer service. I will Defo be returning when we can do all the theme park when my daughter older. Marineland was very poor and very expensive I would avoid that trip
Nice decoration and great housekeeping service. We asked for extra towels on most days and we received them in our room within minutes. The rooms are very good and the beds are comfortable and it has a good kids club. This is one of the better hotels in Magaluf.
We were really apprehensive after reading the reviews but after visiting i have no idea how anyone could have something negative to say about this hotel. We stayed there for a week in October; it was our first family holiday in six years and it was brilliant! The hotel and all of its staff were amazing. I need to tell you especially about Sandra who was in the restaurant every night that week. She was really the best thing that could have happened to us. My son is an extremely fussy eater and would hardly eat anything except bread. Sandra went out of her way to make friends with my 5 year old son and 2 year old daughter. We all absolutely adored her! Every night she would do something so kind and make my son feel special and would encourage him to eat and try new things. She truly went above and beyond her normal job duties. By the end of the week, my boy wanted to eat, just to show Sandra and she would make him feel so proud. She is one of the main reasons why this holiday will remain memorable for us. The hotel is child and family friendly. We would recommend!
I was very wary about coming here due to the location as it is wuite close to the strip. I was pleasantly surprised and we certainly didn't see or hear anything that we wouldn't be ok with considering we were with our 2 children aged 6 and 7. The evening entertainment was brilliant, the staff are lovely and attentive and made an effort to speak to us and remember our names! The all inclusive was ok too, as with any all inclusive they can be a little repetitive but it's nice to eat out every couple of nights to break it up. Our room was a family room, not huge but we managed. The kids loved their bunk beds! Don't be put off by location, we headed to The beach a few times and it was Fab!
Took my teenage and young kids on half term, booked the whole package through British airways holidays. A lot of activities for kids, reception staff was not very receptive, they could improve on that. The rooms a bit narrow for my liking. Food buffet plenty but some of it a bit repetitive. Excellent hotel for accessing the beach.
Just spent a wonderful week here with your 7 year old who loved the park, hotel, facilities and kids club. The rooms are ok, very clean no problem here just need a bit of an update but there is everything you need in them. Possibly only missing a kettle but that's only a minor detail. It was my daughters birthday whilst away and the hotel manager arranged for a birthday cake and a hotel mascot teddy to be left in our room. We stayed b and b and honestly the breakfast was one of the best we've ever had in any hotel it was super fresh, nice choice of breads, juices etc. The only thing I would suggest would be to ask for a room over looking the front of the hotel. We had room 410 first which was quite noisy and asked to move which reception did no problems to 411. Overall highly recommended.
I arrived at katmandu park hotel with my husband, daughter &grandaughter first impressions great.Check in was a bit slow but got there in the in the end.Rooms brightly decorated, beds comfy sunny balcony in the afternoon.Wardrobe space but no draws,no kettle but a small fridge.Restaurant seemed like a canteen.Food very salty coundnt eat it &cold. They never filled up plates &soup bowls.Children can only go on certain rides but if you pay a extra 20euros each you can go on the rest.
Absolutely amazing experience went with my 6kids 12-4 plus my brother and his family in total we was 12 people. The staff is absolutely amazing mini disco and kids entertainment amazing kids club. With 8 children keep them busy for 6days they absolutely loving it. So much for the kids to do and keep them busy. We arrived late the staff was amazing friendly and very welcoming. The room was very comfy and clean everyday with clean towels. Food was amazing got variety of choose everyday. Again kids loves the food and the waiters was very helpful even in the restaurant was very busy. Soft play kids are safe I leave them to play the staff take good care and play with them. I will definitely go back. Will definitely recommended this hotel to all people who’s looking for a resort to go. Beach 5 mins walk shops is like next to the hotels. Such an amazing fun holiday and very relaxing. Thank you to all the staff at sol Katmandu Will come again soon.
My partner won the hotel stay in a competition. We arrived at the hotel not knowing what to expect. We checked in early and was told our rooms were ready. The rooms were nice, clean and comfortable. We were offer and upgrade on the park to gold wristbands for €20 per Person and would recommend this to anyone as we had unlimited access to all attractions on site and a crazy golf course offsite too. The food was very tasty throughout our stay and the nightly entertainment was very diverse every night. Our 9 year old twins went to kids club most days and loved it especially EDU who made them laugh constantly. We even managed to experience the park at night due to the Halloween special and the end of season show was a perfect end to our stay. Was shame to leave as we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will be back and I can not recommend this hotel and resort and staff enough to any family. Thank you katmandu see you again
Living now within a couple of miles of here, I had heard mixed reviews from local folk. But, I take as I find. We got a good deal for Halloween that included one go on all the attractions including one round of mini golf. Speaking of the golf, the course was well maintained and good fun to play. The attractions themselves are mainly 3D, 4D and even 5D 10-minute films in small theatres that seat up to 24 people a time. All in all a good day out. We will definitely return for another fun day out. 4/5
