3 of us stayed here in June 2017 for a long weekend - all aged 20. Would definitely recommend this hotel as the location is perfect right between the two main strips, beautifully decorated and very clean. The bar food was quite expensive to be honest but we ate there almost every day out of convenience, however the food was good and the drinks were reasonable prices approx 5 euro for frozen cocktails and cheaper for lagers. Pool area was lovely however no music on which made it a bit quiet. Lots of inflatables in the pool provided by the hotel which are good fun. We stayed at the BH June 2016 and would definitely recommend this one over BH. This hotel is perfect if you are willing to pay that little bit extra you do get that better standard and with the BH was too expensive, really strict security almost like prison guards on watch!

Visiting in October was always going to be quiet and if I’m honest was not sure that there would be much going on. The staff from start to finish were really friendly and the hotel was very clean. The music around the pool was fab with dj most of the day. Pool area was also very clean. The rooms were nice and the housekeeping good. Safe was free of charge. Good location not too far from anywhere and only a minutes walk to the beach. The only down was the chairs on the balcony as these were not practical for sunbathing or having a drink before you went out although they look the part. Would love to visit next time in busier season.

Pleasant hotel, Food was very good, service was excellent but it was very noisy from 10am to 10 pm. Loud music should be restricted to shorter periods and have quieter background music rest of the day.

Me and my friend travelled to Sol House back in June when we visited Magaluf for our first girls holiday, the hotel is lovely, much nicer than many other hotels on offer in magaluf. The rooms are modern and done up to a very good standard, the beds are very comfy and the rooms clean, my only quibble would be that they aren't very sound proof and that during the time we stayed which was to be expected that there was a lot noise throughout the day and night. The hotel is a five minute walk to the strip. The hotel vibe is quite bland, there is DJ's advertised however all that seemed to happen was a girl stand on the stage and play a CD on repeat... However the hotel is lovely for all ages, and would be somewhere I would return.

Stayed here for a short weekend Friday 13th October to Sunday 15th great hotel stayed in one of the best rooms great comfortable beds plenty of room great staff had a phone call from reception about 20 mins after check in saying free drinks waiting down stairs as we got them with the package very clean great location... I would definitely recommend this hotel and will be staying here again next time thanks a lot 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

We booked two PARTY ROOM SOLARIUM rooms at a cost of nearly 950 Euro per room for the week (this was with a discount of 20% I believe and included breakfast). The rooms were decent. We did have a problem with beds to begin with (a double instead of two singles) but after 4 or 5 trips to reception and the guest experience department getting involved it was resolved. Bathroom has a walk in shower which is massive and quite powerful, no bath. Plenty of towels that were changed daily and toiletries left daily. The room has a good sized fridge, kettle with tea and coffee and a safe, all included. We were told that we would get 20% discount on food and drink at the hotel by booking this room (it says on the melia website), not once did we receive this. We did get the other perks such as a bottle of cava when we arrived and on another night a bottle of red wine along with cheese and Spanish meats was delivered to the room. The room comes with a speaker that links to your mobile phone, this was brilliant as the hotel had virtually no music (or at least it was inaudible). Sol House Mallorca Mixed by Ibiza Rocks - just before we arrived the hotel apparently lost its music license or something along those lines. Meaning no music, no big parties etc. We were treated to extremely low playing music at the bar outside our room. The biggest let down of the trip was the lack of Ibiza style music. I would stay in the hotel again (provided they had some form of music/entertainment everyday and night), I wouldn't waste my money booking anything other than a standard room and I wouldn't pay even close to what we did for a weeks holiday.

Firstly before I write my review on this hotel, I’m getting annoyed at the amount of older couples complaining about the changes to hotel when it was under the old name of sol Trinidad. It would help if you did your research before booking. Just by the new name and decor if you looked the pictures, it was aimed at a younger or groups of people coming to party. Right on to the hotel, I stayed during the first week of June 2017. Visually and vibe it tried to advertise would’ve made this hotel the best in Magaluf hands down. There were a few things that not just for me but a lot of people staying let this hotel down. Check in was very slow just the system the employees had been taught just to slow when you have more than 10 people waiting to get to their rooms, change and go out. A more simple system needs to be found as the current one isn’t good enough. Secondly which was the main disappointment of the hotel, there was no dj and no music which meant zero atmosphere around the pool, we were given different reasons as to why this was but found out it’s because they had their music licence taken away, still don’t know if that is 100% but that was the best answer we were given. If the hotel knew this they should’ve informed potential guests who were expecting music by the pool., they have to realise this is false advertising. There were a lot of unhappy people because of this so we tried to entertain ourself around the pool, nothing bad but it was constant nick picking on any little we did by the two girls who worked in the lobby, they complained when some people decided to bring their small speakers down to play, it was a joke. A lot of people decided to go to the beech, which meant no money was being kept in the hotel with people buying drink. Food was ok, rooms were very nice and cleaned regularly., most of the staff were friendly but the surprising thing was that Magaluf on a whole is different in a very good was,. I’m hoping to return to this hotel next year June but before book we have to have a guarantee that music or dj will be playing because if not I’ll choose another hotel. Thanks

Fabulous comfortable hotel. Lovely clean spacious rooms with flat screen tv . Pool facilities amazing. Down side, service and food. Beds really really comfortable. Bathroom spacious and well supplied. No complaints.

The location is ideal for the needs of our group, food was not as good.Soup was luke warm, food not as plemtiful as in previous years, only one toasting machine for whole restaurant which in my opinion is totally inadequate
