Great hotel. It's worth the stay for the view overlooking the sea. Excellent location. I would definitely stay here again although they do need more sun beds around the pool. Too many empty beds with towels on that remain empty for most of the day. Maybe the hotel could enforce a policy that prevents people from doing this. Immaculately clean rooms and a clean hotel in general. I recommend visiting sentido playa del Moro.
We have just returned from a weeks holiday . This is our seventh time staying at the hotel . Roshan who is the customer services gentleman will attend to all your needs all you need to do is just ask .Our room was excellent front facing the sea . The hotel has been upgraded recently and is suppose. The staff are very helpful and friendly . The hotel is spotlessly clean and the food is good .
This is my last day at this Hotel as I am writing this review. Well what can I say probably one of the best hotels I have stayed in for a long time. In room 306 which is a full sea view and worth extra . Food is first class caters for everyone's taste and plenty of it, further in the week we have been here there has been a different theme every night for example, " tapas" Asian etc. Breakfast is amazing all meals are buffet style. Having stayed In a similar hotel chain in Crete in may this year this hotel surpasses! Food is hot. Hotel is spotless. Staff overall polite and accommodating. Had reservations before I came as this chain of hotel tends to predominantly cater for Germans and other Eastern Europeans and having experienced this before was a little hesitant but yes there are very little English in the hotel and resort but this has not deterred me from coming back. I rarely return to the same hotel or resort but I most probably will book again. Well done Highly recommend
This was our tenth or eleventh stay at this hotel and it just gets better and better. Since our last stay in 2016, further improvements have been made to the pool area to facilitate the provision of further sunbeds, the dining room has been extended to provide more tables with a view out to sea and the hotel's outside bar on the main main street has been completely rebuilt. All very well done. The food was as good as ever and the staff were as helpful as ever. I must make mention of Vicente, the maitre d', of Cati on reception and of Roshan, who does everything possible to make sure all of our time at the hotel is made as enjoyable and relaxing as possible, including our departure. I have reviewed this hotel previously and I must repeat my previous comment that the majority of the guests are German but we love international feel that this gives to the hotel, particularly as all staff are pretty fluent in German and English.
We found a nice deal for half board for three nights. We were greeted with fizz and an upgrade to a junior suite. The staff were both very professional and discrete. The room was lovely, one of the most impressive Ive stayed in, large open space and great bed, decore simple but very classy, the walk in shower and bathroom in general was excellent. The cleaning service and turn down service excellent. I believe the junior suites all have a 'lateral' view of the sea which was ok but the size of the balcony and the huge sliding door make this for us at least as good as a full sea view. A/C, huge flatscreen, comfy bed, amazing shower and nice bathroom products. We felt the room couldn't be improved. Lovely. The breakfast and evening meals were varied and good quality. A seat for you evening meal is assigned the first time you enter the restaurant and is fixed which for me was a bit weird but it didn't cause us a problem as the views of Cala Millor are fantastic. There are lots of extras, spa, pool and bar and we found these services very well done and the bar was good value. I will definitely stay again due to the excellent value this hotel offers both in quality and staff. The hotel is run by a small company CM Hotels and you really do feel that its a family run company, happy staff that take pride in their job. Reading some of the other reviews I would like to agree with some small gripes. Yes, there was high percentage of german guests and the entertainment was aimed at this demographic. I think the whole of Cala Millor is like this so its just the way it is. When the hotel is busy the lifts are overworked. Sometimes you have to wait 5 minutes.
We asked for a high floor and a walk in shower which we got ghe only thing was i wanted a double bed. But two out of three was good .the only not good thing was the food .the food was very good but some times was not very hot. And not many vegetable and when there was like one night we had brussells o i thought lovely then i looked at them and had to ask what was the scauce in the tray i was told cheese which i do not like .why did they not do one tray with the chesse and one without .which would have suited a lot of people. But overall the service was very good . Lovely clean and the towels in the bath room were very nice a soft and proper bath towels and lovely and clean and white . And the whole hotel was keeped very clean . Lovely holiday just a little moan. But will go back thank you all at playa del moro
We stayed here for 10 days including breakfast and dinner and it was fabulous! The location of the Hotel is great: Close to the beach and the shopping area. The breakfast and the diner gives a great variety of meals and the theme of the diner changes every day. It was always easy to find something to eat. We've booked a double bedroom, but paid for a junior suit just after arrival for small money. It's really worth it, especially with two small kids. Outstanding is the service level from the Hotel staff: They are always very polite and friendly and are trying their outmost to make the stay as great as possible. We'll come back for sure!
We stayed here in august 2016. First of all the food was to die for. The restaurant room was plain, easy, simple. The main lobby was very stylish and plain at the same time. The bed was average and a double bed was 2 single beds together that didn't help to us. It was very clean. Our junior suite was on the top floor (9th floor!) with stunning sea views. There was a back entrance and a front entrance the back entrance lead into the lobby and the front entrance lead into the outdoor pool area. One of the best hotels.
The hotel had very friendly and helpful staff, we were greeted by the hotel manager Vincent on arrival who made us feel welcome and assisted us with any queries we had. The food in the restaurant was excellent with a wide choice of high quality with every night having a different theme. Our room was clean and bright and had a good view overlooking the beach and sea and shops are close by. The hotel was close to the beach, has a good indoor and outdoor swimming pool and good facilities. I would definitely visit this hotel again and recommend it to others.
We were greeted with a glass of very nice cava and even though we were early our room got checked and was ready for us. We had a junior suite on the 7th floor with fab views, good spacious balcony with sliding door and an extra window by the bed. We had two beds put together they were very comfy with comfy pillows, there was also a sleeper sofa, coffee table, dressing area and flat screen TV with a couple of English channels. The safe and clothes hanging area were in a little hallway as you enter the room. This was the coldest area of the room. The air con was really good in this area but is on the wrong place as didn't get into the room as it is two foot into the hallway with fixed slats. I wouldn't like to stay here in the summer as it would be too hot. There is also a fridge which s full but you can squeeze a small bottle in. You are allocated a table which you use throughout your stay both breakfast and evening meal. They do not change the table cloth after every meal. They food is plentiful but not always hot. And who still thinks themed evenings are great the worst were what should have been there own. Prices for the drinks are about the same as local bars and you can charge to your room. Staff on the whole very friendly and are always busy. This hotel is as explained in other reviews geared to the Germans and this applied to the entertainment I think there were only a couple of us from the Uk. Sun beds are filled early but worse here is that they will leave one bed between them and as the grounds aren't very big you have no chance moving them around. We did have a great time but only really stayed in the hotel to sleep and have a meal, Would we visit again mmm maybe
