I booked and paid for 4 nights and on arrival they told me that there computer had crashed and that they had no rooms - this was a complete and utter lie!! I had a confirmation email off them saying that they can not deal with a requirement of a sea view - if the computer had crashed then how did they send me this email?????? They fobbed me off into a completely different hotel 20 minutes from there - I had planned everything around the hotel. Knowing my rights as a consumer I spent the next 3 hours in the morning speaking to the agent in the uk and they got me back into the hotel???? Thought that there was no rooms!!! This was only the start - my room key would not work and the member of staff that turned me away on the first night said that he had organized myself a taxi...... the taxi never arrived!!!!
The hotel is a bit old school and a bit pricey therefore for what it is. Otherwise nothing to complain. Very nice service. Especially reception. just stayed one night. Its a bit of a walk to the centre of andratx.
Just spent a week here. The setting is good and the facilities are very good. Great pool area which is also good for kids and disabled access. The snack bar was average food but conveniently located. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is fantastic with great choice. Overall, a very good experience.
Love love love this hotel. Second time we have been and hoping to come every year. Beautiful place close to the port with great bars and stunning restaurants. The staff are very friendly and the place is very clean. Not much going on at the hotel at night but it's nice as most people go into the port.
Spent 10 days and thoroughly enjoyed. The hotel is but a 20 minute walk to the port and an array of restaurants ( Coppola and Trepais best in town). Breakfast is excellent and there is an option to eat inside or out. Great selection of hot food, cereals fruit, meats and cheese. Three pools all well maintained and never too busy where a sunned cannot be found. Top notch staff around the pool to assist with moving umbrellas etc. The pool bar was reasonable and offered good food too. The rooms are well appointed with decent air conditioning. There is a fully functional gym with a wide array of equipment. The soap is much underused but again offers a full array of treatments. Bikes (electric and manual) can be rented and it's well worth it to visit Andratx for a quiet morning. There are two supermarkets nearby by, one being at the sailing club. There is a bus service which goes into Pslma. Takes about an hour and a half and costs 5.5 Euro. Beware it gets very very busy. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for a relaxing holiday close to a wonderful marina.
Stayed here for a week bed and breakfast. We were offered a glass of cava whilst checking in and then shown to our room by the very pleasant man on reception. The room was perfect, plenty of room, comfortable large bed, plenty of wardrobe space and a very good bathroom. The balcony had a beautiful view over to the marina which we preferred to a view of the pool. The hotel is very attractive with beautifully kept gardens and a lovely terrace overlooking the pool. We found plenty of sun beds and although some people decide to put out their towels to keep a bed and then disappear we had no problem finding a bed as there are plenty. The breakfast is good, plenty of choice and it was so pleasant sitting outside to eat. The pool restaurant is also good. The hotel has such a lovely atmosphere and all the staff are friendly and helpful. Port Andratx is a lovely place to holiday, it's a 10 minute walk to the marina with lots of good restaurants but our favourite and definately the best restaurant was the yacht club. Fantastic food and service, a beautiful view and very close to the hotel. We will definately stay at the monport again!😊
We have just returned from staying at this hotel and cannot recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived everything was perfect. The hotel is very beautiful and set in a perfect location, it is around a 10 minute walk from the port where you find many great bars and restaurants. The staff are very helpful and attentive and are always willing to help. Breakfast is very plentiful with lots of choice we also had lunch at the hotel most days which has also very nice. We will be returning!
We came to this hotel to relax after a very stressful time,I can't fault it,the room was lovely overlooking the pools, the staff were without exception, friendly, charming and helpful, the breakfasts were amazing and the setting was lovely. The walk into the port was easy and took about 15 minutes, plentiful choice of restaurants,in a very picturesque location. I can't wait to go back, several guests I spoke to were on there 8th,9th and 10th visit.
A hotel to enjoy with very friendly staff. The port is lovely to visit and an easy walk where excellent fish restaurants are dotted around with views over the bay. Great finds, fine dining and a very pleasurable stay.
I am a travel agent and fortunate to stay in lots of hotels through my job, however the Mon Port would rival most. Staff and service is excellent as are the rooms, public areas and pool area, but what makes this hotel different is the FOOD. Outstanding at every level. Breakfast is superb, the pool bar serves fantastic food for lunch and the a la carte restaurant in the evenings is just fabulous. I'm a "dubious" eater whilst abroad and tend to opt for vegetarian food, but whilst at the Mon Port I've eaten everything with full confidence. Top marks for this hotel - it really has excelled.
